Hello, My name is Samira! I’m a first-time mom looking for someone to help me with my at home birth to support me throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery. I’m currently receiving care through UCHealth, but I’ve had some experiences that made me feel uncomfortable, so I’m exploring other hospital options as well. Having someone I trust by my side during this process is really important to me. I’d love support with education, emotional reassurance, and guidance during labor—especially someone who can explain what’s normal, help me stay calm, and provide encouragement and positive affirmations throughout. I’m really looking for someone who will help me feel safe, informed, and confident every step of the way. My birth preferences are a calm, supportive environment with clear communication about what’s happening and why. I’d like to be able to move freely during labor, try different positions, and have guidance with breathing and pain management. I’m somewhat open to medical interventions if necessary. I would also like continuous support, encouragement, and reassurance throughout the process. After birth, I’d prefer immediate skin-to-skin contact without cord clamping until cord is white, no wiping of the vernix and would like to skip all medicines and vaccines unless my child's life is in danger.

We’re doing a hospital birth, but haven’t decided on medication. Our est. budget is around 2000. We’re hoping for someone experienced and patient with first time parents that also has knowledge or access to a network that can consult on lactation, night nanny services, etc. Insurance is BlueCross BlueShield Anthem.

I plan to give birth at hospital. For right now, i have no clue, no idea about my birth plan. What i know is i am planning to have unmedicated birth with hypno-birthing technique. My conditions is me & my husband live by ourselves with no parents or people that can help around us. We would love someone experienced with newborns, calm and supportive, and comfortable helping first-time parents learn as we go.

I need help getting my baby to latch onto my breast to feed, she will latch occasionally but only when she’s sleepy or doesn’t realize it’s the breast. She is 3 months old and I’m hoping it’s not too late to have her latch.. I am currently pumping but I would really like help getting my baby to exclusively breastfeed. Any help is appreciated! Our newborn has bad acid reflux but is managed throughout the day. In the evenings it seems to get significantly worse & she becomes inconsolable.
