We are looking for overnight help for our baby, Thomas, who is almost 4 weeks old. He was born at 36 weeks, 4 days and was 5lbs 5oz, so we were instructed to combo feed with breast milk and formula. He takes bottles most of the time and breastfeeds occasionally. Since he was a preemie, we are having trouble figuring out how much he should be eating, so in addition to helping with overnight care we are hoping to get some help with feeding patterns. We are interested in sleep training as well, and just cleaning up the bottle parts.

I’m looking for a reliable day and night nanny to help with my newborn and three young children (ages 4, 3, and 2). I’d like someone with experience in infant care, sleep training, and household support (light cleaning, laundry, meal prep). The role would mainly be at the mother’s home in Port Saint Lucie. Must have at least 3–5 years of childcare experience and CPR certification. My estimated budget is $20–25/hr for nights and $18–20/hr for daytime.

First time Mom had a stalled induction that lead to a c-section. She does not have support who can help her take care of lifting the baby and assist with bending over. Her grandmother and aunt can assist with cleaning and cooking but have disabilities that keep them from helping with newborn care. She is attempting to breastfeed but needs assistance and more in-depth education. There are 5 well trained dogs in the house but their care will be done by other support. Looking at needing help for 4-6 weeks. Budget is about $1,500 a week but unsure of what is “common” and appropriate.
