Hi, I’m Jacqueline, but you can call me Jacqui. I’m a full-spectrum doula who believes birth is both sacred and deeply human — not something to “manage,” but something to be supported with care, humor, and grounding energy. My background as an esthetician, medical assistant, and ordained minister means I show up with a calming presence, steady hands, and the ability to connect with just about anyone. I see each family as unique, and I honor every birth plan, every emotion, and every cultural layer that shapes the journey into parenthood. I’m here to hold space, advocate when needed, and help parents feel informed, respected, and genuinely cared for.
My philosophy is simple: YOU deserve a birth experience that feels safe, supported, and authentically yours. I show up as both a guide and a teammate — someone who listens first, encourages often, and helps you tap into your own strength. Whether it’s breathwork at 2 a.m., a good laugh when things get intense, or quiet reassurance in the moments that matter most, I’m committed to walking alongside your family with compassion and confidence. My goal is to help you feel prepared, empowered, and never alone during one of the most transformative moments of your life. My hobbies are reading, crafting, hosting karaoke nights at local bars, helping my partner run a part-time catering business and cuddling with our Beagle-mix Emo. I look forward to meeting you!!

Service introduction
As a full-spectrum doula, I support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with care that feels grounded, empowering, and personal. My role is to provide emotional support, education, comfort measures, and advocacy so you feel confident and truly seen during every step of your journey.
I also bring a unique blend of services that elevate the experience. As a licensed esthetician, I offer gentle prenatal and postpartum skincare rituals and relaxation treatments to help you feel restored and cared for during this transformative time. And through my catering and grazing board services, I provide nourishing meals and beautifully curated foods to support healing, comfort, and celebration in the fourth trimester.
My goal is simple: to give you holistic, warm, judgment-free support that honors your needs — mind, body, and spirit. With me, you’re held, supported, and cared for on every level.

Frequently asked questions
1. What exactly does a doula do?
A doula provides emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I’m here to guide you, comfort you, explain things, advocate with you, and help you feel confident and supported every step of the way.
2. Do you replace my partner or support person?
Never. I support both of you. My role is to enhance your partner’s involvement, not replace it. I help them feel confident too — offering guidance, breaks, and tools so you both feel like a strong team. I am your cheerleader!
3. Are you available during the entire labor?
Yes. Once you’re in active labor, I’m with you for the duration — I always have a backup doula that you will meet prior to your delivery. You are never alone or without support.
4. What is a backup doula, and do you use one?
A backup doula is a trusted, qualified doula who steps in if I am unexpectedly unavailable due to illness, an emergency, or overlapping births. I always work with professional, experienced backups who share a similar philosophy of care. You will always meet or learn about your backup in advance, so you never feel unsupported or surprised.
5. Do you support medicated, unmedicated, or C-section births?
Absolutely. I support every type of birth — epidural, unmedicated, induction, VBAC, scheduled or unplanned C-section. My care is judgment-free and centered on what you want and need.
6. When should I book a doula?
Most families book between 12–30 weeks, but it’s never too early or too late. The sooner we connect, the more time we have to prepare and build a strong relationship.
7. What’s included in your services?
Each package varies, but typically includes prenatal visits, on-call support from 38 weeks, continuous labor support, postpartum guidance, feeding help, comfort techniques, and access to my resource library. I also offer esthetic services and catering options to elevate your experience.
8. Do you take insurance?
Some families can receive partial reimbursement depending on their plan. I provide receipts and documentation you may need. I also offer payment plans and sliding scale options to help make support accessible.
9. What’s the difference between a doula and a midwife?
A midwife provides medical care. A doula does not. I focus on emotional support, education, comfort measures, advocacy, and preparing you mentally and physically. We complement each other beautifully.
10. Do you support virtual clients as well?
Yes. I offer virtual prenatal sessions, labor coaching, partner guidance, and postpartum check-ins for families who prefer or need remote support.
11. How do your esthetics and catering services fit into doula care?
My esthetic services offer nurturing, restorative moments — such as gentle prenatal or postpartum facials — to help you feel grounded and cared for. My catering and grazing boards provide nourishing foods perfect for the fourth trimester or small celebrations. It’s holistic care that supports your body, spirit, and sense of well-being.
