I met Jacquelyne and Sarah when I was 34 weeks pregnant with my son. Even though I was so far along, it felt like I had know them my whole pregnancy. We connected so well and they both made me feel like family. When i tell you they would do anything for their girls, i mean they would do ANYTHING for their girls. Even if it means coming over to massage you several times just because they know your body is aching and they want to help you rest better without you even having to ask them! They are so kind, gentle, honest, and generous with their time. They are so passionate about mommas and babies and it is so evident in every area of their lives. My birth didnโ€™t go as planned, but they both comforted me and made me feel like I could do anything. even in the face of a mountain of fear. I couldnโ€™t have done it without them. I am forever grateful for these beautiful women. I want them to be there for all of my babies!!!

Also, RUN DO NOT WALK to having Sarah as your photographer!!! She is AMAZING! Every picture captures so much emotion and her editing is phenomenal!

I am so incredibly thankful to have found this birth collective and to have the opportunity to work with Jacquelyne. I had a good feeling about her from the very beginning and found her just in time. She was especially attentive, always texting to check in with me. She also created an individual doula plan that worked best with my situation and schedule. Jacquelyne came to the hospital, took the sweetest photos of my baby and family and stayed to make sure I was ok. She even advocated for me when my pulse was super low for a certain period and I wasnโ€™t feeling the best. I am so happy I found her, her knowledge is impressive and she ensured that I was well prepared for my birthing experience. She has a warm and thoughtful personality and has wonderful experience as a doula. As a nurse, Iโ€™m thankful for her professionalism and thoughtfulness and look forward to using Wild Roots in my next pregnancy.๐Ÿฉท

Jackie, Sarah and Terri have been the biggest gift I could have asked for in my post partum journey! Not only did they do every chore/cleaning (while I caught up on sleep!) so that I wouldnโ€™t have to even think about it, they routinely checked in with me to ensure my mental health was never declining!! I never once questioned that my newborn was given the most snuggles and affection in their care. Canโ€™t recommend these ladies enough!

Very thankful to have worked with this doula team during my postpartum recovery! Having women around who cared for me and my children during those days of healing was absolutely amazing! I worked with Jaidyn, Sarah, and Jacquelynne and all three women cared for me, my home, and my children in such a supporting and uplifting way. They are truly the village you need when you are recovering from giving birth!

I wanted to come on here and give a review. Due to the amazing love and support that these girls give. I got a ahold on them at 30w pregnant. I wanted to go this way due to the doctors telling me I couldnt have the birth I wanted. I reached out and they told me I will have the birth I wanted. I went in thinking I was going natural 100%. No epidural no nothing. I knew I was probably going to want it after I got around 5cm dilated. I wanted to be up and walking around. Working out my contractions. Before we got started she had run to get a drink. When she came back I was mid contraction. So hesitation she jumped right in. I labored in my back. Which by far is the worst. She really coached me through it till I got my epidural. I jumped from 1.5 to 5 in 5 mins. ( I was induced). I will be using these girls again for my 2nd baby!

After my first introduction to Jacquelyne I was so excited and relieved that I had found birth support. She & Terri did 2 prenatal support visits.
During our visits we had shared our previous birth traumas with them, and they reassured us of our rights and their role in protecting them, which was a huge relief. I was loaned a peanut ball and they showed me stretches for pain relief. Jacquelyne gave me a relaxing massage with essential oils, explaining the benefits of each one. They showed us their birth bags and everything in them and educated us on the purpose of each item.
They both also made an effort to connect with my other children, which meant a lot to us.
They were always available when I needed support and answered all of my husband's questions, easing his mind. My husband even nicknamed them โ€˜The Avengers' because of the way they came together and started working on me. He was confident that our baby & I were going to be loved, supported and protected.

During labor, they both were hands-on and incredibly comforting. They anticipated my needs, offering hip squeezes, helping me in the labor tub, cooling me with a towel and fan, giving me sips of water, and helping me change positions. They made sure I was as comfortable as possible, getting me extra pillows and linens when there was delays with the hospital staff. They communicated with my midwife and nurses, advocating for my needs. Terri also encouraged and reassured my husband when things got intense.

They went above and beyond, even finding knee pads for me in the labor tub! They made sure I had warm dry clothes on right away after my bath. Terri braided my hair, set up string lights & candles, and Jacquelyne set up the essential oil diffuser. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Hearing their voices chanting support and love during active labor & birth motivated and comforted me.

Terri is also a talented photographer and captured beautiful moments of my labor, birth, and postpartum. She even came back the next morning to capture photos of my other children meeting their new sister. She helped them feel comfortable with their new sister. The amount of detail she captured was incredible. Our family will definitely be booking a session with her in the near future

Jacquelyne came to visit our family in our home a few weeks afterwards once we were comfortable & ready. She brought gifts for the baby including a hand crocheted baby blanket. She also checked on me asking about how itโ€™s been recovery wise, offering great advice & guidance.

I highly recommend Wild Roots to anyone looking for a supportive, loving and knowledgeable group of birth workers. I look forward to working with them again in the future when we are ready to expand our family again.

We are beyond grateful for our doulas โ€” they were truly heaven-sent. From preparing me mentally, physically, and emotionally for labor to being an incredible source of calm, strength, and guidance during delivery, their presence made all the difference. I felt supported, empowered, and deeply cared for every step of the way. I cannot imagine this experience without them, and I plan to have them by my side for all future pregnancies and births. Highly, highly recommend.

Jackie was an incredible support throughout my prenatal, birth, and postpartum journey. She has a calm, grounding presence and always seemed to know just what to say. I felt like I could reach out to her with all my questions and any concerns. She truly listened in a way that made me feel understood and cared for. When it came time for birth, I was so thankful I had her on call. Her intuition was spot on.

Jackie pours her heart into her work. She never made me feel like just another client. Sheโ€™s easy to talk to, authentic, and compassionateโ€”and you can tell she was born to do this. I felt honored that she would so graciously want to support me and my family.

Her wisdom, generosity, and love for what she does certainly shows through her work. Jackie has been such a gift to me and my family, and weโ€™ll truly miss having her around. She is doing amazing things in this community, and Iโ€™m so grateful for her guidance and care.

Thank you, Jackie ๐Ÿค
