I cannot recommend Janis Wilbert highly enough. As a first-time mother, I had no idea how complicated, exhausting, and emotional breastfeeding could be. What I quickly learned was that feeding my newborn was essentially a full-time job, that I was not prepared for! Janis was an incredible source of support during those early months. Janis never made me feel pressured to feed my baby one particular way. Instead, she supported our combo-feeding plan of nursing, pumping, and formula and helped me find a routine that worked for both my baby and me. Her encouragement and reassurance made such a difference during a time when I often felt like I had no idea what I was doing. She also helped identify that my son had both a tongue tie and lip tie and recommended a trusted pediatric dentist for us to see. Having someone recognize those issues and help us know what steps to take next was incredibly valuable. Our son also struggled with reflux, which added another layer of stress to feeding. Janis taught us paced bottle feeding and provided guidance on positioning and soothing techniques to help with his reflux. She was also there to support us through the transition in feeding, including overnight care, which gave me the opportunity to get some much-needed rest and confidence. What I appreciated most about Janis was that she cared for the whole family—not just the baby. She brought knowledge, patience, reassurance, and calm to a time that felt anything but calm. She helped me feel less alone and much more confident as a new mother. I will always be grateful for the support Janis gave our family during those first precious—and very exhausting—weeks with our son. She was truly a lifesaver, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any new parent.

Janis was instrumental in our breastfeeding journey. My little one was diagnosed with failure to thrive and also had a tongue tie that Janis was able identify early on in our breastfeeding journey. Due to my baby’s failure to thrive we had to begin fortifying my breastmilk to ensure my baby was getting the correct nutrition she needed to gain weight. Janis helped us with the tongue tie by teaching us how to do suck training which allowed me to fulfill my breastfeeding goals. She was always accessible and available even overnight when I had questions. I highly recommend any mom, experienced or new, to have a consultation with Janis. She is very knowledgeable and I don’t know how I would have survived without her support and guidance.
