I plan on giving birth at a hospital with my husband and a doula. My estate budget is $700-$1,300. This is my very first pregnancy so I hope that I am able to do many of the things that I am interested in. I definitely want a relaxed birthing experience. I can definitely get tense during stressful situations but essential oils, music and breathing exercises help tremendously. I do want pain meds for this experience as I don’t have a super high tolerance to pain and don’t know what to expect. I was to do delayed cord clamping and have my husband help with the birth and cut the cord. There’s definitely more I’d like to write but we are in the early stage currently so just trying to figure things out!

I plan to give birth in the hospital but I would really like to have an unmedicated birth. I'm not sure what my budget is going to look like but I don't think we will have any extra money for a doula as much as I would love one. If I can't find a free or low-cost doula, I will just have to get my husband as trained as possible before labor.
