I want a African American Midwife and Medulla. I want to be hands on. I want to know everything about what is going on with me and my child. This is my 2 baby. I really want a water birth and not a hospital. I want to be the first one to touch my baby and his or her father.I want family and soft music. I want to be able to bounce on the ball with helping with contractions.

I’ve had two previous C-sections (in 2015 and 2018), and with this pregnancy, I deeply want the opportunity to have a VBAC. During my second pregnancy, my OBGYN told me I couldn’t attempt a VBAC solely due to my weight—even though I had no complications such as high blood pressure or gestational diabetes. I was healthy, just not within their idea of the ‘ideal’ weight. This time, I refuse to let my weight alone be the reason I’m denied the chance to birth the way I feel is best for me and my baby. As a single-income household and someone who falls within the lower-middle class, I am on Medicaid and have to be intentional with every dollar I spend. Still, I’m willing to invest in a doula—not only for the emotional and physical support during labor but especially to help advocate for me in medical spaces where I haven’t always felt seen or heard. A doula will help me navigate conversations with providers, stand firm in my birth preferences, and ensure I am treated with the respect and autonomy I deserve. If my current provider is unwilling to support a VBAC, I am absolutely open to switching to an OBGYN or midwife who will align with my goals and values for this birth.

I plan to give birth at the hospital, I want limited medical intervention and need an advocate for myself. My husband is a doctor and comes from a gamily of doctors who dont really believe in natural medicine. But i need someone to advocate for me according to my plan while at the hospital. And i also need someone to educate me and help me make a better birth plan. It is my first pregnancy

Looking for postpartum doula services and possibly birth doula services. Planning to give birth in a hospital. We do not have a defined budget and are willing to pay market rates. Currently planning to have a vaginal birth likely with an epidural. Depending on medical necessity I would be willing to have an induction and/or a C-section. Very flexible on birth plan.

I plan on doing a natural hospital birth. Must take Medicaid. Mostly looking for post partum care / over night care for me and maybe baby. I’m willing to pay out of pocket too.

1. I plan to give birth in the hospital. 2. I am a lower middle class individual. I do have insurance through United Healthcare if that will help. 3. I prefer a natural birth with no epidural. I would like the freedom to move, change positions, and use various coping techniques. I would like to try nitrous oxide (laughing gas) as a pain management option. I am also interested in any other alternatives for pain management. I would like to push in a position that feels most comfortable (upright, squatting, hands and knees, etc.). Delayed cord clamping for at least 2-3 minutes. Immediate skin-to-skin contact after birth, if possible. I would like to keep my placenta. I prefer all newborn procedures (weighing, measuring, etc.) to be delayed until after bonding.

I’ll be giving birth at Nortons hospital. Currently using my insurance to cover cost. I don’t have much of an idea for a birth plan but I will be using epidural.

If I can find a doula covered by medicaid I would love a home birth but otherwise hospital

I want to learn how to push and breath in the best way to prevent tears. Also I want to breast feed want to deliver in hospital nortons...I have passport insurance. I don't hav a birth plan

Help at night and waking up with baby at night and waking me up to pump

Needing someone to help me with my postpartum and someone to be a night nanny so me and my mother can get rested at night. Must be CPR certified! Must be great with babies! Need help cleaning and organizing, night time feeding for baby and diaper changing. I have a 2 but soon to be 3 month old. Must speak English. I have health insurance so if someone can take that it would help me out so much.

Hospital I have never had a doula so I don’t know a price Trying to go unmedicated and vbac. I only had one c section and that is only because the baby was sunny side up. I am very high risk because I have a lot of health problems the main one being my heart.

I am only 3.5 months pregnant, I’d want a doula to also help with a birth plan! I’m thinking no epidural but I’m always open- this is my first, so we’ll see!
