I offer Labor Doula services that include 2 prenatal visits for childbirth education (tailored to your needs, including breastfeeding education, if desired) development of birth plan, detailed discussion of comfort measures; stretches, activities and massage to prepare for labor and relieve discomfort, and individualized health coaching that would tailor nutrition to support individual needs (including medical conditions such as gestational diabetes, etc.) I offer 24/7 on-call support from 37 weeks through phone and text. I will be by your side to offer emotional and physical support for you and your partner, from the time you call me as labor begins until you are peacefully settled with your new baby after birth. Labor Doula services include 1-2 postpartum visits, depending on individual needs, and assess physical, emotional healing and recovery; infant care and feeding; sleep and any other individual needs. Postpartum Doula Services are completely tailored to each family's needs. I offer flexible scheduling in 4-8 hours shifts, with the focus being on the birthing individual's healing and recovery, bonding with the baby, infant care/feeding, nutrition, self-care and everything else that support those needs, including offering support and planning for the whole family and referrals to community resources for other types of support. Please call to talk about your individual needs! Meal planning/prep and cooking can be part of this service! Overnight shifts are an option after daytime postpartum services have been established.
