Im 23 and pregnant with my first. To be honest im genuinely terrified of every aspect of this experience and it’s causing me to lose so much sleep and stress more than i imagined. I’m planning on a hospital birth with an epidural. I don’t normally tend to fully go the holistic route always. I’m out of work and am relying on my fiancé financially. I am currently seeking postpartum doula support in Columbus, Georgia. I will be delivering at St. Francis-Emory Healthcare and anticipate needing support beginning in the last weeks of May and continuing through the full month of June. I am looking for a doula who must be available afternoons into evenings for about five hours per day, five days per week. My primary need is assistance with pet care, especially walking my dogs, along with general postpartum support. This includes helping ensure I am eating regularly, providing gentle reminders for self-care, and assisting with light housekeeping to help maintain a calm and supportive home environment during recovery.
