First time pregnant just need some guidance on how to take care of myself and my baby
I want to labor at home and then go to the hospital for birth. I want an unmedicated birth and would like additional support (husband will probably freak out haha). I am not sure of budget probably anywhere from 500-1000$?
I plan to give birth at fort sanders regional hospital in mid November. I am considering a 39 week induction with an epidural but my main priorities 1) a good experience/ no trauma 2) little to no pain 3) not extended the birth beyond 2 days
I would like someone who will stand up and speak for me. I prefer someone African American if possible. Lots of black women in healthcare get ignored and I don’t want my concerns ignored while delivering. I’m hoping to find someone my insurance Tenncare covers I have united healthcare. I will be giving birth at UT hospital and I’m currently seeing high risk. I want to keep my placenta. I want to give birth on all fours or standing up with the bar, I want to be able to walk around before epidural.i don’t want any students at my birth, I also want to delay cord clamping until it is white and no longer pulsing.
When it is leading up to go time and once go time comes, I was to feel educated and confident in what is going on. I want to be informed of movements and stretches I can do while in labor to help for a better delivery. As well as leading up to labor, I want to know what things I can be doing to help get labor started, and mainly have the least amount of interventions possible in the hospital. I know that is hard to say “if/when” I do need intervention, I at least want to know I did everything I could to have the safest, smooth birth possible.
Plan to use the midwives at UTMC but wish to have a completely unmediated, non-induced, natural birth. Looking for coaching in managing birthing pains so my husband and I are better equipped for labor. No vaccines, oral vitamin K, leave placenta attached until the cord is while and stops pulsing, no bath/do not remove vernix, immediate skin to skin with mom. Not sure of typical cost of a doula but something reasonable
Need a night nurse to help a couple of days a week
