Hey! I am Violet. I was born and raised in Humboldt County CA. I moved to Los Angeles when I was 22, over 10 years ago! I originally worked in the lighting entertainment industry but made a transition to become a doula. Lights are cool and pretty and exciting! But being a doula is fulfilling. Helping families grow and adjust to this new normal is something I am passionate about. I provide non-judgmental and honest care and information during one of your families most vulnerable times. I will not judge your parenting or birth style or choices. I will never lie to you. I am here to help. My mission is to empower new parents as they transition into parenthood. When I am done providing my services my goal is to walk away with you feeling confident, relaxed, happy with your birth, and ready to take on this new life called parenthood! Everyone deserves a doula who understands who they are, listens to what they need, and comes with an open heart and an open mind. I hope to be that doula for you! I am trying to get certified and I need your help! Not being certified does not mean I am not trained. It just means I can not accept insurance. Families who agree to helping me get certified will get the service for 50% off in exchange! Offer available to three birth families! For more information, Just ask! Currently Serving: Los Angeles County & Humboldt County!

I am a first time single mom and was worried about taking care of my daughter Emma, alone and recovering from birth at the same time. Violet helped me with both night and day shifts. Violets day shifts depended on my needs for the day. Some days she was just happy to make me lunch and do laundry for me and Emma. Some days I needed some time alone and she was there to do tummy time with Emma, put her down for naps, and sing to her. When she was on nights she was there to burp, change, and settle the baby down again after I breast fed her so I was able to sleep a little more. She always had cleaned any bottles she would use by the morning and would make us both coffee before I got up. She even gave me a slight discount knowing I didn't have a two income household witch helped me a lot in the long run.

ANGELINA, we have already made it clear to you. You have already went to yelp. We have reviewed your reviews., you go around making bad reviews because at a snap of a finger, one time visit we could not make due to an emergency induction for another mom. Out of 300 births, you are the only person who has ever tried to hurt my business the way you have. I personally feel that you have to heal in your postpartum that’s a priority to me versus my feelings at this point I have parted ways with you for more than one reason this is a public platform and I will not disclose any of your personal information. I did an absolutely fantastic job as doula , I did not ask you to write a review on this website, you made flaws claims and accusations about contracts. I have never made anyone sign. You made false claims about me not being communicative with you about a postpartum visit. You made false claims in regards to my professional professionalism. I helped watch your sweet baby boy while you were able to have a successful delivery. I have treated your family with absolute respect. But one thing I will not tolerate about my business as false accusation.. I will not move forward with any type of care in the future, and we have parted ways.

Hi, I’m Sara—a devoted doula with a deep passion for supporting families through both birth and the postpartum journey. I’ve had the privilege of being part of over 100 births, and I bring a calm, grounded presence along with a wide range of experience to every family I work with. As a mom of five—including twins—and someone who’s had home births myself, I truly understand how powerful, intense, and personal the transition into parenthood can be. Whether I’m by your side during labor or helping you navigate those tender early weeks at home, my goal is always the same: to provide steady, compassionate support tailored to your unique needs. Now that my own children are older, I’m thrilled to be reengaging fully with the work I love. Being part of this sacred chapter in people’s lives—both during birth and in those early postpartum days—is an incredible honor. If you’re looking for someone to walk with you through it all, I’d be honored to be part of your journey. Let’s take this step together.

I focus on overnight newborn support and daytime “mommy’s helper” care—everything from feeding (bottle or breastfeeding support), diaper changes, baby laundry, and sanitizing bottles and pump parts, to helping establish healthy sleep habits and routines as your baby grows. Every family is unique, and I always tailor my care to meet your specific needs and parenting style. I’d love to connect, learn more about your family, and see how I might best support you during this exciting transition.

Hi! My name is Kaylan. I’m a certified Newborn Care Specialist with a degree in Child Development and over 12 years of hands-on experience supporting families during the newborn stage. I’ve worked in both Alabama (where I was born and raised) and Los Angeles, where I’ve been based since 2016. My passion for working with infants started early, and I feel so grateful to have turned that passion into a long-term, fulfilling career. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of families — including first-time parents, work-from-home professionals, and even high-profile clients such as professional athletes — which has helped me become highly adaptable and intuitive in all kinds of home environments. As a true night owl (I always say I’m a bit of a vampire! 🦇), overnight newborn care fits my natural rhythm perfectly. I specialize in creating calm, supportive nighttime routines that promote healthy sleep habits, while also providing peace of mind to parents during those first critical weeks and months. I’m excited about the possibility of supporting your growing family and hope to bring comfort, care, and consistency during this special transition into parenthood.

Kaylan services were amazing! She was very educated and knowledgeable. She was such a helping hand to not only my baby boy but me as well! She went over and beyond to give me the best days after giving birth. I trusted her so quickly and knew my baby boy was in GREAT hands. She kept me updated and we would do a talk before she left in the morning on how the night went. She kept everything neat and clean!

This was my first experience working with a doula, and it exceeded my expectations. She was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming, and she provided so much helpful information throughout the process. She supported me in reaching my birth goals, and my overall experience was significantly better than my first birth without a doula. I highly recommend her to anyone considering doula support.

Hi, I’m Maia! I’m a Los Angeles based certified and dedicated birth and postpartum doula, committed to empowering families through pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. I began my journey with a strong desire to help women from all walks of life. This passion gradually evolved into a keen interest in pregnancy and childbirth, sparking my aspiration to become a midwife. While currently pursuing my degree, I realized I couldn't wait any longer to start supporting women during their pregnancies. Alongside my passion, I bring qualities like willingness, compassion, empathy, dedication, patience, understanding, and adaptability that I believe are crucial for helping women. So, I took action and became a certified birth doula. Now, here we are—you're looking for a doula, and I'm hoping we can work together and share the incredible journey to parenthood. I believe pregnancy and childbirth are the most precious gifts and miracles entrusted to women. It's an intimate and emotional ceremony that will forever be the most unforgettable and transformative experiences in your life. I also believe that childbirth is a natural process, perfectly suited to our bodies. While our bodies know how to give birth, they also rely on our mindfulness and awareness. That's where I come in. Together, we'll listen to your body, your desires, and your feelings, allowing them to guide us through the ups and downs of pregnancy and childbirth. What feels right for you is the right path for your journey. Together, we'll overcome any obstacles that arise and make informative decisions that align with your vision for your birth. Hi! I’m Rechelle, a trained postpartum doula and newborn care specialist based in Van Nuys, CA. Growing up in Victorville, an underserved community with limited access to OB/GYNs and specialized care, shaped my passion for maternal health and advocacy. My journey into postpartum support began with an internship at Black Infant Health, where I saw firsthand the impact of culturally relevant care, especially for Black families facing higher risks and poor health outcomes. I trained with the DNT Network, a program that prepares doulas to provide high-quality, evidence-based postpartum and newborn care, because I value relationship-centered, accurate, and accessible care for every family. My background in public health, combined with personal experience supporting my brother who has special needs, has shown me the gaps families face and inspired my mission to close them. As a doula, my philosophy is simple: every family deserves compassionate, personalized support. I work closely with families to provide postpartum care in ways that are grounded, practical, and nurturing. Whether it’s feeding, soothing, sleep, light household tasks, or emotional support, my focus is on practical care that makes your nights easier. My mission is to reduce maternal health disparities while honoring the unique needs of each family I serve.

Rechelle was such a blessing during my birth journey. From the very beginning, she made me feel seen, heard, and cared for. Her presence was calming, her knowledge was grounding, and I I highly recommend her to any family looking for a dedicated and loving birth worker.
