About me

Hi, I’m Stacy Soria, a certified birth doula and the heart behind My Safe Place Birth Coach. I’m a mama of four boys each with their own unique birth story and I’ve walked the journey of both breastfeeding and exclusive pumping. Those personal experiences, along with my deep passion for birthwork, led me to support other women in one of the most powerful moments of their lives. As a doula, my mission is to help you feel safe, seen, and supported—whether you’re planning a hospital birth, a VBAC, a water birth, or something in between. I believe birth is not just about bringing a baby into the world, but about bringing you into your power as a mother. I serve families with love, advocacy, and grounded education, and I walk beside you through it all your fears, your choices, your voice. Your birth story matters. Your body knows what to do. My passion for birth work began in 2020 during the pandemic when I was in labor with my second son. Due to restrictions, I was only allowed one support person, which meant I couldn’t have a doula by my side. Fortunately, the nurse caring for me was also a doula. The support she provided was transformative it made me realize how impactful having someone by your side can be during such a vulnerable time. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting numerous families through their unique birth experiences. As your doula, my role is to provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support. I am committed to respecting your birth preferences and empowering you to make informed decisions. I advocate for a birth experience where you feel safe, heard, and fully supported.
