My birth plan centers around flexibility. I am aiming for natural birth and utilizing different birth positions and coping skills. I've had a some trauma with needles and medical care when I lived in Haiti and got typhoid: makes me reluctant to get epidural but open if my headspace is bad. This is my first baby and I am 28 years old. Would prefer someone who is in their 30's or older. Bonus if faith-based. Looking for coaching through labor and helping with positive mindset. Plan on giving birth at the hospital, I have blue shield promise which will cover doula coats hopefully as I cannot afford. Hopefully I can find a doula who is open minded, helpful, and willing to pass on knowledge as this is my first child.
