Find Postpartum Doula Jobs Near Lake Forest, CA

Hospital birth, first time moms, LGBTQ+ family, 39 years old, unsure of budget as just starting out, ideal birth plan is vaginal birth without epidural (and tearing) but I’m very interested in nitros as pain management. I really want to find someone who is experienced in births to understand me and my family’s desires and to not be railroaded into decisions I’m not comfortable with or don’t understand all my options at the hospital.

This is my first baby. My family lives in California and I live in Long Beach. So I’m in need of learning the do’s and don’ts of childbirth and afterbirth care. Also prepping my body for delivery. Ideally I would like to have a water birth because it seems safer for the baby and I. By research I’ve seen most doula’s cost $25 an hour. I do have insurance and I’m hoping that can help with the finances.

We are seeking a kind, reliable postpartum doula to provide supportive care for our newborn while the mother is home. This short-term role runs January 26–30, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM (6 hours per day).
