About me

Hello! My name is Larissa Rose, and I’m a Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula with a background in education and over a decade of experience supporting families in both home and professional environments. I’ve worked with first-time parents, growing families, twins, and households navigating all kinds of transitions. My approach is rooted in calm, compassionate care and evidence-based practices. I believe in meeting families where they are—offering not only hands-on newborn support but also emotional reassurance, guidance, and education along the way. My philosophy is centered on creating a peaceful, structured environment where newborns can thrive and parents can feel empowered. I prioritize secure attachment, gentle routines, and developmental awareness. Whether I'm helping a new mom find confidence with feeding, guiding a family through sleep conditioning, or collaborating with other caregivers in the home, my goal is always to bring clarity, calm, and kindness into the space. It’s an honor to be trusted in such a meaningful time in a family's life, and I bring my heart and professionalism into every home I serve.

I cannot recommend Larissa highly enough. From the moment she began working with our family, it was clear that she is exceptionally educated and experienced in newborn care. Her depth of knowledge about infant development, sleep routines, feeding, and overall wellness gave us such peace of mind as new parents. She not only provided outstanding hands-on care for our baby, but also patiently guided us through each phase, sharing tips and answering questions with compassion and confidence. Her calm presence and professional expertise transformed what could have been an overwhelming time into an incredibly positive experience. Beyond her technical skill, Larissa is warm, loving, and genuinely cares for the families she supports. We always felt that our baby was safe, nurtured, and thriving in her care. She quickly became an invaluable part of our household, and we are so grateful for the foundation she helped us build during those early months. Any family would be lucky to work with Larissa. She truly is the best at what she does.
