Hi, I’m Haley Foulkes, a Birth and Postpartum Doula, Reiki Master, and provider of Ayurvedic-inspired postpartum care serving families throughout the greater Seattle area. My passion is helping families feel supported, informed, and cared for during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum transition. As both a mother and doula, I understand how important it is to feel seen, heard, and supported during this season of life. My approach is centered around autonomy, informed choice, and compassionate care. I believe every family deserves support that honors their unique needs, values, and goals. I provide evidence-based emotional and physical support while incorporating restorative practices such as belly binding, herbal nourishment, gentle bodywork, Reiki (upon special request), postpartum recovery support, and closing ceremonies. My goal is to help families feel grounded, confident, and nurtured as they navigate this transition. I support all family structures and strive to create a calm, nonjudgmental space where parents feel empowered and never alone.

I’ll be honest. I wasn’t sure what to expect when we hired a birth doula, but I can’t imagine our labor without Haley. She supported both my wife and me from day one. During labor, she stayed calm, guided us through every stage, and helped me be the partner I wanted to be. Her experience and steady presence made our hospital birth feel so much more peaceful and empowering. The biggest thing I noticed was how safe and confident my wife felt with Haley by her side. If you’re looking for a compassionate birth doula, pregnancy support, or labor support, I can’t recommend Haley enough. She was one of the best investments we made for our growing family.

We hired Esme as a postpartum doula to help us get some sleep during the first months with our newborn. As first-time parents, everything felt overwhelming. We were also a bit worried about having someone new in the house at night, but Esme made it feel easy from day one—we felt comfortable with her right away. Esme was honestly a lifesaver for us in those early months. We feel very lucky to have had her support. Our baby would often wake up crying at night and was hard to soothe, but Esme handled those moments with such calmness and confidence. She clearly knows how to work with newborns, and that’s not easy to find. Our daughter felt comfortable with her, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. What stood out the most was how calm she stayed, even during more intense moments. That calm presence really helped our baby settle much faster. We would absolutely recommend Esme to any new parents—she makes a huge difference, both for the baby and for your own sanity and sleep.

Ayden My Birth Doula was an absolute lifesaver throughout my entire birth journey. From our prenatal visit to postnatal support, she was incredibly informative, knowledgeable, and always on time. She helped me understand what to expect, even knowing that birth can be an unexpected process at times, which gave me confidence and peace of mind going into labor. As a single mom by choice, Ayden was especially respectful and empathetic to my unique needs and how they differ from those of a couple. She was deeply supportive, caring, and thoughtful, never dismissive, and always made me feel seen, understood, and honored in my experience. During birth, Ayden was kind, nurturing, and remarkably calm. Her lovely positive affirmations and strong, grounding words helped me stay focused and empowered. Her intuitive guidance, especially with birth positioning for pushing was invaluable, and she attentively nurtured all of my needs, from snacks and water to maintaining dim lighting and a peaceful space. Giving birth to a Christmas baby unfortunately for me turned into travel nurses, and midwives and nothing going as planned. Yet, Ayden created calm within the chaos. She helped keep me grounded and feeling safe, and knowing she was by my side brought immense comfort. Her postnatal visit was just as supportive and reassuring, helping me process the experience and feel cared for beyond the birth itself. I truly cannot imagine my birth experience without Ayden’s support. Truly a Doula Angel Sent to help bring my baby girl into this world safely and as calm as possible in the unknown.

Adrea was recommended to me by a friend of a friend, who had used her twice for postpartum newborn care. She is an expert in baby sleep!! Adrea is also very kind, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. She did not have availability to help me at night, but made herself available as much as possible during the day so I could get some much needed sleep. So so grateful for her. Highly recommend!!

Laura was truly a life saver after our baby was born. Baby girl ( was very small when she was born, so the combination of concern about baby's weight/size, breastfeeding troubles, a lot of family stress, and awful postpartum depression made things really tough. Laura swooped in with incredible calm, knowledge, endless support, and a soothing touch, and things suddenly felt a bit more manageable. When Laura arrived, she would somehow see the big picture of "what does this house/family need right now?" and also zoom in on me and baby to make sure we were safe and comfy. The days when Laura was in our home meant I could take a shower, take a nap, have a solid meal--all while trusting that our baby was in excellent hands. Her depth of knowledge about pregnancy, newborns, feeding, safety, and overall health is incredible--and she has so many resources to share--but more than anything else, she made us feel incredibly cared for. I cannot recommend Laura highly enough to help smooth the transition from giving birth into the wild newborn days. Thanks to her, we felt less stress, less exhaustion, less worry, and so much more comfort. She's an amazing doula!

Eunice is supporting us as a night doula for our newborn, and she has been incredible from the very beginning. In those first couple of weeks, she not only cared for our daughter but also helped us fine-tune feeding amounts, adjust timing, and better understand our baby’s cues. Her guidance made such a difference. Our nights are now much more restful, and our daughter (now two months old) is sleeping more consistently and becoming more independent. Eunice is dependable, communicative, attentive, and truly attuned to our baby’s needs. Our little one is always happy to see her and continues to sleep more regularly through the night. We truly would not have enjoyed this newborn stage as much without her. We’re so grateful for everything she’s done for our family.

Sage was a dream come true for us. I was so deeply appreciative of the updates, the communication, the honesty, the positivity, and the trust that Sage was able to provide for us while caring for our baby while we were on a work trip. My two older children were also so impressed by Sage and really enjoyed all of their interactions. We recommend Sage wholeheartedly and with absolute confidence. The peace of mind and comfort Sage was able to give us during what could've been a really nerve-wracking time is something I will always be grateful for and never forget.

I practice trauma informed, perinatal, birth, and postpartum support for all birthing bodies, couples, single and single by choice parents, adoptive parents, and families on their surrogacy journeys. My support is queer competent, weight inclusive and intersectional, and it is always my priority to support people getting the care that helps them feel safe and seen, essential to the health and wellness of both baby and family. I know first hand how beautiful, challenging and exhausting childbirth and parenting is, and I come with a wealth of personal and professional experience to share with you.

Recent review

Melanie Guymon is a superb doula. She spent nights with our little bub for 2+months, she gave us a reprieve and support during the difficult newborn days hard. We had a colicky baby and Melanie not only helped us advocate to our doctors that our baby might have reflux, but she also gave us superb tips on how to help ease her discomfort at night and during the day.  During her time with us Melanie also helped us prepare our baby to move out of the swaddle, and due to her tips, our baby seamlessly transitioned from her Snoo + bassinet and into her crib and a sleep sack. She continued to support us with sleep coaching as well, helping us with our babies sleep schedule, which has allowed our baby to sleep better than all of our other baby friends in a similar age range. We had Melanie start with us around the 6 week mark due to our postpartum schedule, and she was with us until just under 4 months. We could not have done this journey without her.

We had the absolute best experience with Taeleonna! She helped us with all three of our babies, born 1/16/19, 11/11/21, and 6/5/23, and I truly can’t recommend her enough. Taeleonna worked with each of our kids for about three months, helping with sleep conditioning and establishing healthy sleep routines. Having her support during those newborn months made such a huge difference for our entire family. She was patient, dependable, knowledgeable, and so caring with each of our babies. Every baby is different, and I loved that she adjusted what she did based on each of their individual needs rather than treating every baby the same. Having someone you completely trust caring for your newborn overnight is a huge deal, and we always felt comfortable knowing our babies were with Taeleonna. The fact that we chose to have her back for all three of our kids probably says it best! We are so grateful for everything she did for our family and would absolutely recommend Taeleonna to any family looking for overnight newborn support and help establishing healthy sleep habits.

Tae is caring, attentive, and reliable - truly a baby whisperer who I’d highly recommend to any new parents. We hired Tae for 12 weeks to take care of our newborn. Not only were we able to sleep soundly knowing our baby was in good hands, but Tae went above and beyond. She offered helpful suggestions and advice on feeding and ways to improve our baby’s sleep. Thanks to Tae’s expertise and advice, our baby was sleeping through the night by the time we said goodbye to Tae. We so appreciate Tae for setting us up for success!

— Monica C., review of Taeleonna Wells September 2026

Debora helped us overnight for over two months, and we couldn’t be more thankful for her support. She was very caring and nurturing to our daughter. Also, being first time parents, she gave us a lot of insight and knowledge along the way. I especially appreciated that Debora constantly checked in with us to understand if we wanted to change anything in the routine or have her do something differently. We tracked details and sleep time in an app. Debora was great at tracking everything that happened overnight and would provide a short recap for us in the morning. She also reviewed the details we put in before arriving so she knew how baby girl was doing that day. There are many more small and big actions she took to make the experience positive.
