I have a true passion for working with newborns and helping families adjust to their new little joys! I offer non judgmental and evidence based support, I am constantly learning and improving my practice. I have a wide range of hobbies including crocheting, painting, hikes and traveling. I am excited to be part of this community where I can help families!

We hired Teresa for overnight doula support after our son was born. We chose her because of her calm and supportive presence, and our feeling that she would be able to blend in and not add any additional friction during this sensitive time. We were completely right. Teresa arrived every day with a 'can do' attitude, confidence, and care for our family. In addition to relieving us of our duties while she was here, she also talked us through our son's development and gave us tips and suggestions for how to care for him on the nights she wasn't there. Her communication was impeccable and it was really helpful to have an expert perspective to answer our questions, especially since this was our first child. The calm and rest Teresa provided us truly kept us sane during those first few months. Teresa allowed us to schedule more nights after our originally scheduled plan and was as flexible as she could be. We ended up hiring Teresa for a couple nights a week for an extra couple months while we adapted to our new life. I highly recommend Teresa if you're looking for an overnight doula. She is someone who will support you and keep the attention where it should be -- your rest, and your baby's health.

Adrea was recommended to me by a friend of a friend, who had used her twice for postpartum newborn care. She is an expert in baby sleep!! Adrea is also very kind, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. She did not have availability to help me at night, but made herself available as much as possible during the day so I could get some much needed sleep. So so grateful for her. Highly recommend!!

I am Rafaela, a Certified Postpartum Doula through NAPS and a graduate of DONA International–approved Postpartum Doula training. I am also a Birth Doula trained through the Becoming a Birth Doula program with Carrie Kenner and a Newborn Care Provider. I am based in Kirkland, Washington, and provide compassionate, respectful, and hands-on support to families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, helping parents feel confident and supported during one of the most meaningful transitions in their lives. I hold a Technical Degree in Nursing from Brazil, earned in 2010, with more than 2,090 hours of combined theoretical and clinical training. While this is not a U.S. nursing license, it provides a strong clinical foundation for the care and support I offer families. Throughout my professional career, I have gained extensive experience in maternal and newborn care, including supporting pregnant women, newborns, premature infants, and babies requiring specialized care. I bring seven years of hands-on experience working in a maternity hospital in Brazil, where I supported mothers during labor and provided direct care for newborns, including premature infants and babies in the NICU. This experience has given me extensive knowledge in supporting families with newborns who require specialized care. I offer both daytime and overnight support for newborns, premature infants, and their families during the postpartum period. My services include evidence-based newborn care, emotional support for parents, infant feeding guidance, healthy sleep foundations, and practical assistance to help families feel confident and well supported as they adjust to life with a new baby. Families often describe me as reliable, calm, and attentive. I strive to create a warm, organized, and judgment-free environment where families feel supported and confident in their routines while following current American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommendations for safe sleep and newborn care. Laura was truly a life saver after our baby was born. Baby girl ( was very small when she was born, so the combination of concern about baby's weight/size, breastfeeding troubles, a lot of family stress, and awful postpartum depression made things really tough. Laura swooped in with incredible calm, knowledge, endless support, and a soothing touch, and things suddenly felt a bit more manageable. When Laura arrived, she would somehow see the big picture of "what does this house/family need right now?" and also zoom in on me and baby to make sure we were safe and comfy. The days when Laura was in our home meant I could take a shower, take a nap, have a solid meal--all while trusting that our baby was in excellent hands. Her depth of knowledge about pregnancy, newborns, feeding, safety, and overall health is incredible--and she has so many resources to share--but more than anything else, she made us feel incredibly cared for. I cannot recommend Laura highly enough to help smooth the transition from giving birth into the wild newborn days. Thanks to her, we felt less stress, less exhaustion, less worry, and so much more comfort. She's an amazing doula!

My experience with Bridgette was fantastic. My main reason for using a doula was I wanted someone in the birth room to be a fierce advocate while I was medicated and in pain and unable to advocate for myself. She was that and so much more. I had to push for 4 hours to get my little one out after already being in labor for 18 hours. The doctor said I was close to needing the vacuum to get her out and I credit Bridgette's knowledge, encouragement of frequent position changes while pushing and encouragement to keep hydrated and nourished with clear liquids to why I was able to get my little one out without the vacuum. Another thing that was a great help was giving my overwhelmed partner guidance on the best ways of helping me and keeping him calm and involved in a stressful situation. In addition to that she got the BEST pictures of the delivery while respecting the fact I didn't want any from the angle you could see my more intimate areas. I'll cherish those pictures forever. My birth was a beautiful wonderful experience. I have to credit part of it to luck but the majority of it to Bridgette.

I met Mary when she practiced in Arizona and quickly turned into more than just a service provider, but a friend as well. She’s helped me through the pregnancy and post partum of all 4 of my babies and I couldn’t ask for a better support person by my side. Even from Texas, Mary was an absolute saint even just with listening through my temper-tantrums while being pregnant and guiding me through labor-prep. I seriously have her and her alone to thank for such an amazing birth and post partum 4 times now. I seriously recommend her if you’re looking for someone to feel more like family than a service.

Eunice is supporting us as a night doula for our newborn, and she has been incredible from the very beginning. In those first couple of weeks, she not only cared for our daughter but also helped us fine-tune feeding amounts, adjust timing, and better understand our baby’s cues. Her guidance made such a difference. Our nights are now much more restful, and our daughter (now two months old) is sleeping more consistently and becoming more independent. Eunice is dependable, communicative, attentive, and truly attuned to our baby’s needs. Our little one is always happy to see her and continues to sleep more regularly through the night. We truly would not have enjoyed this newborn stage as much without her. We’re so grateful for everything she’s done for our family.

I believe birth is not just a medical event — it’s a deeply personal, transformative experience, and the way you are supported matters. As a birth doula, my role is to provide steady, evidence-based support while centering you: your preferences, your intuition, and your sense of safety. I support families through pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period with calm presence, clear information, and compassionate advocacy. Whether your birth unfolds exactly as planned or takes unexpected turns, you deserve to feel informed, respected, and supported every step of the way. I work with all birth settings and outcomes — hospital births, unmedicated or medicated labors, planned or unplanned cesareans — and I meet each family where they are, without judgment. My approach is grounded in current evidence, emotional attunement, and the understanding that there is no “right” way to give birth — only what is right for you. Clients often tell me they feel more confident, less overwhelmed, and better prepared after working together. I aim to be a steady presence you can lean on — someone who helps you understand your options, supports your partner, and creates space for you to stay connected to your body and your baby. If you’re looking for a doula who is calm, knowledgeable, and deeply invested in your experience — I would be honored to support you.

I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Olena. As first-time parents, there were so many unknowns, and having someone so knowledgeable, calm, and compassionate by our side made such a difference. During labor and delivery, she was exactly the presence I needed. She knew when to step in with guidance, comfort, and encouragement, and when to simply be there and let my husband and me have our moment. She helped me feel grounded during some of the most intense parts of labor and was also an incredible support to my husband, helping him know how to best support me. What stood out most was how deeply she cared. I never felt like I was just another client. She was thoughtful, attentive, patient, and completely present throughout the entire experience. Having her there gave both of us an added sense of confidence and comfort during one of the biggest moments of our lives. Looking back on the birth of our baby, I’m so grateful she was part of it. I would recommend her without hesitation to any expecting family. She will always hold such a special place in our birth story. ??
