Hi! I’m Claire Kagan: a yoga teacher, birth doula, and Ayurvedic postpartum doula with a background in Social Work (LMSW) and a holistic mindset around health, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I love serving clients virtually, but I also serve clients in-person in the Denver and Boulder areas of Colorado. I always say that I like to think of a doula as a birth-focused social worker! I bring in my background as a social worker and skills as a doula to provide education around the birth process, empower you to be your own self-advocate, and work with you to make sure that all of your needs are met and your wishes are honored, before, during, and after birth. I’ll create an ambiance that keeps you comfortable during labor with candles, lighting, music, essential oils, massage, breath, meditation, and movement. I’ll stay by your side throughout labor, reminding you how amazing and powerful you are, and helping you work with your body to bring your baby earth side. No matter what kind of birth you envision, I’ll support you every single step of the way, ensuring that you always feel safe, seen, held, and loved. I always customize my services to fit your family’s needs, so we can work together to build any combination of the services I offer. I’m so excited to support you throughout this journey!

A Coloradoan, Born and Raised, and a mother of three. I am deeply passionate about supporting pregnant women to and through their birth experiences. I vow to guide birthing persons through the threshold of transition, create safe space, and honor their intuition. Through selfless service, resources, support, and healing touch we can come back to the ancient way of honoring the bringers of life, as they transform and process the rawness of their birth. Certified holistic doula through The Matrona, with studies from Birth Arts International, and certified Sacred Postpartum Mother Roaster.

Stephanie brings it! She makes the entire pregnancy, birth & postpartum experience so special and sacred. She is a master ceremonialist and always, I mean always, has flowers and magical honey. You will be so doted upon: from your first visit together; to your mother blessing ceremony; all the birth waves; to mother roasting, belly wraps, and yummy nourishing broths; to an intuitive placental reading; to expert breastfeeding support; to the final bittersweet closing ceremony. She will make your birth space cavelike and sparkly with fairy lights, candles, affirmations, a wonderful fan, and flowers. She will guide you through the waves and challenges, keeping you grounded and cracking jokes for levity. She's also a mama so she deeply understands what her clients are going through. All I can say is Dou-la-la!

Hi, I'm Koko! I serve Longmont and northern Colorado as a birth and postpartum doula. I offer placenta encapsulation and lactation counseling. I see in birth such a beautiful demonstration of love. The love of a mother as she uses her strength, the love of a partner in support of labor; and love of God for us as we travel through the whole process. I am blessed with the beautiful opportunity to help others welcome the precious gift of new life into this world. My life is guided by Catholic faith, marriage, and my life’s vocation of motherhood. I am DONA trained and certified through the Catholic Doula Program as both a birth and postpartum doula.

I am a postpartum doula trained through Black-owned, queer-ran BADT. I’m enthusiastic about nurturing the next generations, and I believe that starts with compassionate care for caregivers themselves. With over a decade of experience in childcare and early childhood education, I came to the world of postpartum care with an abundance of compassion and understanding for the parenting experience. Additionally, I weave my passions for interpersonal relationships, community care, & coloring outside the lines into my professional work, bringing to the table a unique perspective and a hopeful desire to contribute to the world’s beauty.

Hello, my name is Kit and I've I have been working in childcare for almost a decade. In my time as a nanny and a preschool teacher, I've always appreciated working as a team with parents and other caregivers to give children the best care possible! I approach children with empathy, trying to see their point of view and helping them to understand the world around them. I believe there are opportunities for learning in everything, especially in play. I strive to foster independence in children, and build confidence in their own abilities. Having worked with children with various medical needs, I understand that each family and each child are unique. I consider myself very patient and flexible in creating plans and routines that support child development while still considering the needs of the whole family unit.

Hi, my name is Carolina, and I’ve been a doula for almost 3 years. I love supporting moms, couples, and families who need to be educated about the birth world in the USA. I have 2 Children, one is 20, and the other one is almost 16. My greatest gift has been a mom for them. I love to connect birthing families with resources, educate them and get them ready to have a calm and beautiful experience in the birth of their children. As a mom, I went through a lot myself, felt so lonely in the process and I don’t want anyone to feel the same I felt. We speak Spanish and English, and hope to hire more doulas who speak other languages soon.

Hello, my name is Marissa and I'm honored to meet you. I am fascinated by the innate, primitive, and beautiful ability of our bodies to create new life. A hodgepodge of things led me to becoming a certified birth doula and yoga instructor. The two most influential being the births of my own babes. Those close to me would say I have a unique ability to calm a situation, hold a positive space, and intuitively allow things to be. These qualities made sense as a Doula. Additionally, yoga is a big part of my life (a lifestyle, I'd say...) and was immensely helpful through my pregnancies. That's why I offer a holistic approach with prenatal yoga to prepare your mind/body/spirit for an optimal birth. As an LGBTQIA+ doula, I understand that families can be built in many different ways. All that matters is that when a family is created, it happens on a foundation of love, support, trust, and safety. For birthing people, my intention is to support you tenaciously in having the most empowering, transformative, and safe birthing experience as possible. We are not meant to birth alone. As human beings bringing new human beings into the world, it is pivotal to feel affirmed and validated during our most vulnerable and authentic moments. I want you to look back on your birth experience and feel triumphant! No matter what you’ve been through in the past, or what you are envisioning currently, I am here to 100% support your goals and help them come to fruition. For those not birthing and creating a family in a different way, my intention is to support you through all aspects of your unique experience; Planning, transitioning, bringing baby home, etc. I can offer resources and referrals for all of your family's needs. More importantly I can provide Empathy, Compassion, and Presence.

We hired Marissa to be our birth doula and we couldn't be happier with that choice. She visited us couple of times before the due date and she was with us throughout labor and delivery and also saw us a couple of times after the birth of our son. Having her with us in the delivery room was very helpful as she coached me through the contractions consistently. She also supported and cheered us on during difficult times and helped us make the right choices for our labor and delivery. She is really sweet and we connected with her instantly since day 1. We highly recommend her.

Shelby was a great doula for us and we highly recommmend her! We hired Shelby as our birth and postpartum doula and we had a great experience! We had a couple meetings before birth to talk through all of our questions and prepare a birth plan. During delivery she was calm and reassuring, which helped both of us. In the first couple of weeks after birth she thought us a lot about baby care, like baby bath, how to use a baby wrap…

Hello there! My name is Kylie Pina and my philosophy is to help empower families in their feeding decisions through information and support. I was a postpartum nurse for years before transitioning into the lactation role. I am now an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I think families face and feel a lot of pressure around "doing things right", but when it comes to raising a baby, there is no "right way", there's just what works for your family! I help families sort through these feelings with a non-judgmental approach and tailor solutions to YOUR situation. In my free time, I love to travel, read, and be outside!
