My experience with Liz as my doula was truly phenomenal. From the moment we connected, I knew we were the right fit. Her communication was immediate and thoughtful, as a working mom, I deeply appreciated her sense of urgency and genuine desire to support moms in need. When we had our first meeting, we instantly clicked. She brought such a calm presence, yet also felt like having a big sister in the room with me, which, as a big sister myself, meant so much. I sought out a doula because I was considered “advanced maternal age” with my second baby, and there was a lot of fear-based messaging around potential complications and C-sections. I wanted strong advocacy in the room, support for my body, and a positive, smooth birth experience for both me and my son. I also hoped to delay an epidural as long as possible. Although I ended up being induced (not part of the original plan), Liz helped us adapt confidently. I didn’t receive an epidural until 8 cm, something I’m incredibly proud of, and I credit so much of that to her support (not to mention we also delivered a 10 lb 9 oz baby vaginally). Liz wasn’t just an asset to me, she was an anchor for my husband, too. The three of us truly felt like a team. Her birth classes helped us align on preferences and put our plan on paper, and I loved that she brought that plan into the delivery room and thoughtfully referenced it. Her attention to detail is unmatched. Leading up to delivery, she was a constant source of calm, especially during a major snowstorm when I worried I might go into labor early. After birth, when our son had a brief NICU stay and I experienced complications, Liz continued checking in on both me and my husband. That level of care speaks volumes. She is knowledgeable, certified, deeply compassionate, and incredibly detail-oriented, a true rockstar. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.

When I first got pregnant my fiancé suggested I look into a doula or midwife based on friends suggestions. Initially saying "I'm ok" I took time to reflect on it and decided to do some research on the two and what they entail. Immediately I realized how beneficial a doula would be for me, my anxiety, and navigating my first pregnancy and all of the unknowns involved in it. The first person I interviewed was Liz. Upon first meeting, I knew she was the fit for me. I had no interest in interviewing anyone else. From her demeanor, personality, organization, knowledge base, and way of communicating, it was a no brainer. She was beyond wonderful throughout my entire pregnancy. Answering every concern, anxiety riddled thought, talking me off ledges with labor fears, providing me education, tools, empowering words...the list goes on. During labor, she was a big component as to why my experience was as positive as it was. Having both my fiancé AND her there were a true necessity. I would not have been able to labor as long as I did and be in the mindset I was in without her there coaching me through it. I will absolutely want to utilize her again for the next pregnancy. With Liz you don't just get a doula, you create a bond for life.

As a second time mom to be I was hesitant to think that I 'needed' a doula. But as my pregnancy continued fear started to creep in. I had a difficult labor and delivery with my son and I didn't want this to be the case with my second. So I reached out to Liz and I couldn't be happier that I made the leap! Liz was exactly what I needed to help me prepare for my labor and delivery feeling confident. She took the time to hear my worries, process decisions, and provided resources to help me make the best informed decisions. She was the support I needed to let go of some fears and to stand firm in my choices. When my water broke, I texted Liz and instantly felt calm as she reviewed the plan. I was able to labor at home doing the Miles Circuit and then headed to the hospital. I remember seeing Liz in the parking lot; giving her a hug and again feeling at ease. Baby girl arrived in just 15 minutes of getting to the hospital! Throughout my labor, I was able to stay grounded and trust my body's cues. It was an amazing and beautiful birth; exactly what I was dreaming of! I am forever grateful to Liz for helping me achieve this!

Liz was absolutely incredible in preparing me for my redemption birth after experiencing two failed epidurals. Even though things didn’t go as planned, she never left my side. She got to witness her very first successful ECV, and I’m so grateful she was there to share that moment with me. From there, she stayed with me through 30 long hours of labor, continually reassuring me that I was doing amazing. She held my hand, used every comfort measure possible, and always seemed to know the right move at the right time to help me feel supported and at ease. If you are looking not only for an experienced and confident doula, but also for a best friend for life—Liz is the one. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering presence made all the difference in my birth experience.

Liz aka my birth bestie, Our family was created with a lot of love & a little bit of science! While researching about birth I found out about Doulas having someone advocate for you when you can't advocate for yourself seemed priceless to me. Once we got news of our miracle I quickly started the search and found Liz!! Immediately LOVED her off a zoom and her social pages. Here was a mom busting her hump putting all of herself into her business & work, we absolutely aligned. I also appreciated knowing Liz's birth story, made me feel like no matter the outcome natural birth or c-section or god forbid a health issue with our baby, we could lean on her due to her own experiences in becoming a parent. During my whole pregnancy having her in my corner was epic, we found out that I had a velamentous cord insertion at my 20 week scan, I almost sent myself into a google spiral until I called Liz - who knew so much about it. She texted me through our entire pregnancy and helped my EXTREMELY nervous husband (who by the way rocked it the day of). They say one of the best qualities a doula could have is response time, she was always a text or call away about anything. Liz also provided me with great educational outlets tips, tricks, workouts you name it!I truly became a birth nerd along this journey. I love to tell people I had 2 births in one - I got to experience the unmediated water birth I was dreaming of and the C-section that was needed. The plan may not have gone as planned however, I ROCKED MY BIRTH thanks to Liz! I was educated, supported and prepared enough to know when the call had to be made for a C-section. After our beautiful baby boy was born my husband said - "How do couples do this without a doula?" Liz also took the most breathtaking photos of our birth and you're crazy not to spend the extra!

From our very first Zoom call I felt like Liz and I connected instantly. I felt heard and understood with every piece of my story and everything that I wanted for my second birth experience. I could tell that Liz was truly passionate about helping other mamas because of her own traumatic birth experiences. Immediately after our call she emailed resources that would help me navigate this journey and said they could help me even if I chose not to hire her. Almost daily for the last 9 months I reached out to her with questions, concerns, and updates. And no matter what she was doing, she was always quick to respond within minutes even on holidays. Liz will be by your side every single step of the way and do her best to ensure that you are satisfied with your birth experience. She has done everything in her power to help me shift my mindset, feel empowered, and actually get excited about the idea of birth again. I could go on for hours about her, but if you are looking for a doula- just book a single consult call with her and you'll see exactly what I mean. You can thank me later.

I hired Liz to be my doula when I was 26 weeks pregnant and it was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. This was my second baby and I was hoping for a redemptive birth after plans went awry with my first. I connected with Liz instantly and didn’t need any other consults after meeting her. I knew that hiring a doula would provide me the support I was looking for IN labor, but I never could have expected the support I received before labor. In the two months leading up to my daughter’s birth, Liz and I talked regularly through text and audio messages, as well as in-person visits. She answered questions, sent me resources, eased my nerves, etc. Talking with Liz felt like talking with a friend (who knew about birth lol). It felt so natural with her. There is no way to replicate that relationship elsewhere and I wouldn’t even want to try. Liz also took beautiful photos of my daughter’s birth and I look at them daily. I feel so lucky to have had that special moment for my family captured in such beautiful images. If you’re considering a doula, I cannot recommend Liz enough!

Liz is a wonderful doula and I am so happy I found her! I reached out to Liz at 32 weeks pregnant after there was a sudden shift in plans with my provider. I was instantly drawn to her quick response and we actually had our initial zoom call that same day. After chatting with Liz for only 30 minutes, I knew right away that she would be an incredible support system, friend, and someone I would find comfort in. Even though I met Liz late into my pregnancy, she made me feel very comfortable, checked in to see how I was feeling, offered words of advice, sent over awesome resources and motivating videos. It is apparent that Liz loves what she does! She has a very calming presence and her expertise in the field made a big difference during my amazing experience! Liz helped me achieve the birth that I have always wanted and for that I am forever grateful! Liz made me feel empowered, confident, and reminded me of my strengths! She is an incredible support system without any judgment. The day I went into labor, Liz checked in every hour and even was texting my husband. Liz truly feels like family on that big day! She creates a space that brings joy and warmth into the birthing experience. Liz was such an important part of my birth story and I am so lucky to have had her on my team! I couldn’t imagine doing it without her. I HIGHLY recommend Liz to any pregnant woman looking to have that sisterly support, so worth it!!

I feel beyond blessed to have found and have hired my doula, Liz, and won't have enough words to describe the beautiful experience I endured. From the very first meeting, she provided top-notch support, knowledge, and encouragement, making my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum experience so much more manageable and empowering. During my many hours of labor, she created a calming atmosphere beyond my expectations but exactly how I described I wanted to experience, which helped me stay focused, and worked seamlessly with my whole birth team no matter what was thrown our way. Her comforting presence and expertise made all the difference in achieving the birth experience wonderful. Postpartum, she continued to be a lifeline, offering guidance, reassurance, and practical help as I am adjusting to motherhood. I truly believe my journey would have been overwhelming without her support but in the end, I surprised myself with all we were able to accomplish with my body essentially being in labor for over 30 hours. Liz held my hand from day 1 of meeting her, always checked on me, providing incredible resources, which I am forever grateful! If you're looking for a compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, and truly just someone who cares as a doula, I wholeheartedly recommend Liz Eidelman. This was one of the best decisions I made, and I am beyond grateful!

I cannot say enough good things about Liz supporting me through a wonderful birth experience. After some consultations with other doulas I found that Liz’s personality and passion clicked with what I was looking for. She is kind, caring, outgoing, and has a wealth of knowledge, all without being pushy or opinionated. She checked in with me regularly throughout pregnancy and provided excellent resources and support as needed. She helped me build my birth plan and worked diligently to truly understand what I envisioned. I believe having a doula on your team is key to having the beautiful birth experience that we all deserve and Liz provided exactly that. During labor Liz helped me to relax, work through contractions, kept the environment feeling safe and calm, and helped me to understand all my options as they arose. Several of the nurses actually mentioned that my room had a serene energy and overall excellent vibes. Not only was the support Liz provided excellent, it was also perfectly tailored to what I needed and envisioned. 10/10 highly recommended working with Liz.
