I plan to give birth at the Kaiser Baldwin Park hospital (Los Angeles county). I am looking for care that is fully covered by my Kaiser insurance. My birth plan is still in work, but I would generally am ideally looking for a physiological/ low-intervention birth. I value an evidence-based approach and someone who is highly collaborative with hospital nursing staff, so experience at Kaiser Baldwin Park would be a big plus. During birth, I will respond better to a calm,and grounded presence but someone who will still be firm and supportive. For postpartum care, I am especially looking for newborn care support and lactation support.

korean postpartum doula with certification and experience

My 3.5 month son has acid reflux and is on Pepcid but still experiences discomfort around feedings and comes off and on the bottle a lot. The occupational therapist thinks there is a tongue and lip tie and a weak suck. I am not able to get him to latch so he is exclusively bottle fed. I’d like to get him to latch.

Need assistance on breast-feeding especially getting a deeper latch with my baby have been using nipple shields. Definitely want to not use shields.

I am not looking for an anti-medical approach and am comfortable with hospital care and interventions when medically necessary. I would prefer someone experienced with first-time moms and familiar with Pomona Valley Hospital or the surrounding area (La Verne/Claremont/Upland/Pomona).

I am an experienced second-time mother currently breastfeeding my 5-month-old who is experiencing severe, sudden-onset sharp pain and body shaking upon latching. To resolve this, I am seeking an in-person evaluation from an in-network International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) covered by my Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance to identify the underlying cause and provide hands-on relief.

Just gave birth to boy girl twins on 6/27 at 38 weeks. Boy born 7.2lbs and girl 7lbs. I had them planned c-section. Both babies were latching great and exclusively breast feeding and we left the hospital on 7/29. Since then baby girl stopped latching and started taking breast milk from a bottle. She was down 10 % weight at her wellness checkup on 7/30. Baby boy has dropped a little weight at our second apt yesterday. I need help to unsure I am feeding correctly and pumping properly.

Would love to breastfeed. He does not want to latch. We have been seeing LC at Henry Mayo, but he seems to be doing well there, but as soon as I get home he does not want to even try to breastfeed or he will cry.

I want a vaginal birth only. I would like my doula to be experienced at least 5 years. I would like my doula to help me with sleep training, lactation, nutrition, etc.

I need to see a lactation consultant. Every time I try to feed my baby it hurts. She is clamping down and it’s for the full feed. I can’t get her to open her mouth all the way for me to get get all the way in. I am at a point that my nipples hurt so bad that I don’t want to breast-feed anymore. I feel like I need someone to see what/how we’re doing it to see if there’s something else going on
