I plan to deliver in the hospital and expect to use pain management if needed. I’m generally hoping for a smooth, typical hospital birth without anything highly specialized in terms of preferences. We are looking for overnight support a few nights per week to help with newborn care so we can get some sleep and adjust during the first month. Responsibilities would ideally include feeding support, diapering, soothing the baby, and guidance for new parents if needed. I hope to breastfeed and would appreciate someone comfortable supporting either breastfeeding or bottle feeding as needed.
