We plan to give birth at Novant @ Forsyth Hospital in Winston Salem, NC and we prefer a natural birth. We are preferably looking for a doula who accepts the WellCare Medicaid plan.

I plan on having a hospital birth but with as little medications as possible. As close to natural as my body can handle, but in a setting where i have the option and opportunity to change my mind up until the last minute. I want someone able to provide that extra step of care, the nurturing and caring side of pregnancy that is a little less common in a medical setting. My budget is currently still being decided upon but I do have a bit of flexibility in that area.

I'm exploring my birth options, leaning towards a home birth but also considering the hospital for safety and cost-effectiveness. My budget is a concern, and I'm relying on my insurance to help. More than anything, I want a healthy baby and to save for their future. I'm also focused on preparing my home, especially with my two small dogs, to ensure it's a safe and welcoming environment for the baby.

I had gave birth vaginally with my first child but had a c-section with my second because he breached himself so I want to be near a hospital in case something happens but would like to have a home birth this time. I plan to deliver in a hospital and will be working with Carrot, so meeting the eligibility requirements is a must.
