I combine skills from MD degree in the Dominican Republic, my communication skills from years as a Certified Medical Interpreter and My Doula Certification from DONA international and other various childbirth and postpartum birth related trainings. I have been practicing for more than 5 yrs here in Louisville KY where I live but I cover 100 mile (1.5hr) radius covering Lexington and Cincinnati and southern parts of Indiana. I want to make sure you have the support you need during pregnancy birth and during those first weeks of newborn life. I support all birthing locations home hospital and birth centers. Hello! I'm Liz, a DONA-trained Birth and Postpartum Doula located in Louisville, Kentucky, and serving the Kentuckiana region. I am focused on providing joyful, compassionate, evidence-based birth and postpartum support. Coming from a Master's background in counseling with years of experience supporting families in all stages, including those experiencing typical pregnancies, birth differences, loss, infertility, natural birth, hospital birth, and pre-term birth, I am here to support you where you are, no matter the circumstance. My practice provides informational and emotional support for all parents. When I'm not working as a doula, you will find me homeschooling my children, enjoying nature, or learning something new.

I’m a mama of four, a wife, a doula, and a student midwife with a deep love for pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the incredible transition into motherhood. My passion for birth began nearly a decade ago with the birth of my first baby. That experience planted a seed that eventually grew into a calling to support other women and families through their own journeys. You deserve to be heard. You deserve evidence-informed choices. Chaney Williams has been a birth, postpartum, and miscarriage/bereavement doula since 2018 and is a former home birth student midwife. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Kentucky. As a doula and former student midwife, she’s had the privilege of supporting over 40 clients in birth centers, hospitals, and the home setting. She has been involved with different community outreach programs for reproductive justice in Kentucky, such as lobbying with the Kentucky Homebirth Coalition in Frankfort and was a member and on the board of the former doula collective, Louisville Doula Project. Chaney is passionate about providing holistic, evidenced based, inclusive, and compassionate support to clients in all spectrums of pregnancy. For her, it's a privilege to provide support and care to clients through such a sacred transition. In her spare time, Chaney loves exploring new hiking trails with friends, learning new forms of fiber/textile arts, and spending time in her medicinal herb and natural dye garden
