Firts pregnancy in my 40's, after history of breast cancer and BRCA1 mutation. Hoping for someone who can help me walk through my pregnancy and be a source of good information and learning. I plan to go e birth in Beverly hospital, MA. My estimated budget is $1500. I dont know anything about birth plans...all i know is i want a healthy baby, with the least interventions. I do want an epidural.

Hi there! We are looking for overnight help for our newborn boy, expected in mid November. We are looking for someone kind, caring, compassionate, and open to 5 days a week, 10 hours per night (probably 9 pm - 7 am). Looking for a certified postpartum doula or nanny with a holistic approach to newborn and maternal care. We have limited family support and would appreciate help with feeding guidance, newborn care, healthy meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, and creating a calm, nurturing environment while supporting our transition into parenthood.

Include your insurance provider's name and plan details: My insurance does cover Doula, but I may need a prescription or justification from my OB. Currently, I am on my spouse's family plan in BCBS Anthem PPO.

This is my first pregnancy, and because I am naturally a very anxious person, it is especially important to me to have a trusted support person in the delivery room who can help advocate for me. I want to ensure that my wishes are clearly communicated and respected throughout labor and delivery, as I may feel overwhelmed in the moment. Having someone act as my voice will help me feel more comfortable, supported, and confident, and will also help ensure that neither I nor my family feel overlooked during this experience. I will be giving birth at UMass Memorial and am covered by Mass General Brigham insurance, and I want to take proactive steps to make sure my care team understands and honors my needs.
