Hi there, My name is Hannah, and I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant and seeking a birth (+/- postpartum) doula for my upcoming TOLAC at Christus in Santa Fe with the midwives. A bit of background: my first birth in San Diego ended in a traumatic emergency c-section. This is my second, and I’m preparing for what I hope to be a redemptive VBAC with this pregnancy. I had a doula with my first and found her support invaluable. For this time around, I’m specifically looking for someone who: Is trauma-informed or trauma-sensitive. I’m very modest by nature and want support in maintaining boundaries during labor (physically and medically, with staff). I would also love someone to help guide my husband so he can best support me—especially as I’m hoping to labor without medication if possible, as I tried last time (and our doula was exceptional at helping him to help me!). I went 24 hours last time but ultimately had severe back labor and got the epidural (after which came more cascade of interventions...). Has experience with movement-based or hands-on techniques. I respond extremely well to bodywork, massage, and hands-on techniques for pain control and grounding during labor. My first baby was acynclitic and malpositioned, so I’d especially appreciate someone with Spinning Babies and/or rebozo (or other type of training to achieve optimal baby positioning). It is not a must, but would be a huge bonus. My estimated due date is January 13th. If you have availability, I’d love to learn more about your approach and services, as well as your fee structure. Im 27 years old currently 20 weeks pregnant. This will be my third baby, My first baby I had to have a c section after laboring for almost 20 hours going up to 8cm dilated no epidural but baby was breech. So we ended with a c section (aug 2019). Second baby was a scheduled c section due ti previously having a c section (aug 2021) i was scheduled to have it at 1pm but ended up going in way earlier because when j was at registration and walking up to my prep room my water broke and i had contractions starting. Now this time around i really do not want to have another c section id like to have a vba2c. Im looking to have a doula for support and who is experienced in vbac. My obgyn didnt say no but just said we can talk more about it as you get further along but he did mention id have to deliver at a hospital in san antonio.

Need help with newborn feeding and sleeping problems

I am looking for a postpartum doula who can support me after birth. I need someone who can teach me how to care for my newborn, including feeding, soothing, and daily routines. I also need help caring for the baby so I can get enough rest, as well as support for my physical and emotional recovery during the postpartum period.

I gave birth to my 3rd baby on Jan 23. I am needing some extra help postpartum with household needs and with my other children. I injured my back last week and have had painful varicose veins and so along with typical postpartum rest and recovery, I am needing some extra support. I plan to give birth at Carl Darnell hospital on forty Hood tx. Budget is 1400 -2400. While I do have a small support system to help, my husband will be in the field during the first month and a half after birth and looking for some consistency in help/care. For postpartum assistance I’m hoping for assistance for a few hours, a couple times a week. I’d like to scope it to basic newborn care assistance, assistance with newborn cleaning (washing bottles/pump parts/ washing newborn clothes), helping assemble/prepare some postpartum nutrition snacks for me as a breastfeeding mom.

I plan to give birth in the hospital in case there are any medical emergencies with me being high risk (I’m 37). My insurance should pay for this. I don’t currently have a birth plan, as I’m only 10 weeks and am doing this alone.

I plan to have a home birth. I’m currently considering a birth team, including a doula. I had intended on it being only myself and my husband present however, I don’t want to put 100% of the responsibility of my needs onto him. I intend to free birth with a lotus birth. I am not open to speaking with anyone that doesn’t understand and support that. I am looking for someone who can hold space, who is in tune with their energy, and emotionally support myself and my husband. I intend to exclusively breastfeed. I will be a first time mom. I am 37. I do not Intend on having any medical interventions. I will not need help with my baby but am open to lactation classes. I intend to continue self educating with free-birthing classes and hypno-birthing classes. Aside from emotional support I am also looking for someone who can cook and understands dietary needs for breastfeeding mothers. Currently in research mode at 12 week. No set budget.
