I'm still deciding on if I want to give birth in a hospital or at home. I'd prefer someone who takes insurance. I'd like a water birth, and to do everything as naturally as possible (basically just let my body do its thing, don't wash baby, delayed cord clamping, etc.) I'd also like to have the same person doing pregnancy appointments as at the birth.

I plan on giving birth in a hospital due to the fact I have 2 fibroids measuring 1.3 cm and 4.8 cm. To rent out their facility for birth only I must hire my own midwife for the delivery. I would like a hands off birth like I had with my first delivery where my husband was my main support person. Of course there was intermittent checking of babies, heart rate as I change positions, but I would like to be able to freely move until baby is in delivery position, I’d like to delay my cord clamping, and I’d like skin to skin contact and a feeding opportunity with my baby before doing any exams.
