Massage Natural birth Birth positions Give birth at hospital
I need someone who can help me through an unmedicated birth in a hospital. I want to avoid the epidural at all costs.
I would like a natural birth and a doula to help me give birth
Id prefer home birth but im still trying to connect with and hire a midwife... I have Husky A pregnancy insurance. But i really dont want a medicated birth. Id like to be able to listen to and respect my body during my laboring process. Id really like to have a doula that supports me and my physiology.
I plan to give birth in the hospital. This will be my 2nd delivery . My first one was a c-section and I want to go Vbac this time.
Danbury hospital. No budget yet. I would love to have a vaginal birth. I had two previous full term with epidurals.
Throughout my pregnancy, I have been primarily receiving care through Woman’s Health in Avon CT, with a recent transfer to Woman’s Health in Danbury CT, with hopes to use their birthing center. I was recently told I do not qualify for their birthing center and was advised to seek a transfer of care to a midwife for a home birth. A home birth is also my wish, as I will not be giving birth in any hospital setting. I live with my husband in Farmington CT. And this is my first pregnancy. Budget is unlimited.
I’d like someone experienced in natural unmedicated labor there with me while I’m giving birth to my first baby at the hospital. I’d like to pay with insurance and hope to have a smooth and easy birth with the peace of mind of having someone to advocate for me.
Update: looking for an individual who accepts TRICARE, even if it’s not in network. Having baby 3 at Hartford Hospital, due 2/11. Have never had a doula before, but am a little worried my husband might be traveling for the birth! Looking for services to be completely covered by Tricare ideally. Birth plan is hoped to be similar to others - labor as long as I can and then get an epidural. Have not had a C-section and am not planning on it for this baby.
Manchester memorial with WWW Third pregnancy Want hands on help No meds
1. Hospital: Middlesex hospital in Middletown CT 2. $700 3. Possibly c section, first time pregnant
I am a 40 year old, pregnant for the first time. Other than my “advanced age” I’m otherwise very healthy. Normal BMI, active, no preconditions. I would like to have a relaxed, minimally medicalized, minimally invasive birth but due to my age, I fear that will be not respected. I am also limited by my insurance to deliver at Yale New Haven Hospital. I would like to have someone who’s an advocate for me, and someone consistent to support me throughout my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. (My current OB doesn’t deliver, which means it’ll happen w whoever is on call). I’m not sure of my budget, as I don’t know what is typical, but I am a postdoc w a fixed income. I will also likely have to take unpaid leave after birth.
1. I plan on giving birth at Hartford Hospital. 2. I am not sure about budget since I just started searching for a birth doula. 3. I am planning on a Low-intervention with a possible walking-epidural only during active labor.
I am looking to have a hospital birth, but with as little intervention as possible. I want to be unmedicated, ability to labor and deliver on my side or all fours, I want to delay the cord cutting, no fundal massage, no cervical checks,, and I want to be able to retain my placenta. I believe a birth via OB would stop me from this.
I’m pregnant with my first baby and currently 13 weeks along! Husky Plan St Francis Hospital
Planning to give birth at st. Vincent and I’m looking for a birth doula with vbac experience
I am 6 weeks pregnant and I am looking for a midwife that I can trust that will provide a personable experience throughout my pregnancy and childbirth
1. Backus Hospital, Norwich, CT 2. Unsure 3. Low intervention. Unmedicated birth, dad to catch baby and put on moms chest, deliver placenta naturally, delayed cord clamping until cord is white and stops pulsing, immediate skin to skin contact uninterrupted for 1 hour as long as baby is doing okay, no bath, no eye ointment, no vitamin k, no hep b.
I plan to give birth at home with my midwife. I would like to find a birth & postpartum doula covered under Husky health. I’d like someone to help with pain relief and support during birth and then postpartum, some meals, light cleaning & just overall support for me.
