I am expecting to birth my first child at Hartford Hospital. His due date is 7/20/25. My desire and birth plan is to birth as naturally as possible and am currently in the process of trying to make my birth wishes, while also getting more and more informed of what is possible in the hartford hospital setting. My background is dance and circuit training. For this reason I desire to be able to move as much as I can in preparation for birth with no desire to be confined to a bed. I was recently introduced to hypnobirthing playlists which I have been using more lately. I have a desire to breastfeed also. Budget: 700 to 1500.

I would like to have a water birth and the Manchester Birthing Center, I would prefer have my doula covered by insurance or have a low fee for services as a doula is required for a water birth. I would like to have a home birth or water birth if I could but if not then Uconn hospital is where I am usually seen by my OBGYN.
