I live in Ledyard, CT, but I plan to give birth at South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI. I am still working out the details of my birth plan, but I am hoping to have an unmedicated birth. This is my first baby, so someone knowledgeable about breastfeeding and establishing newborn sleep patterns would be appreciated. I have TriCare Prime.

I am having twins. Will deliver is hospital ok with epidural want a vaginal birth of possible. Do not want episotomy unless medically necessary. I do not know what to expect finance wise for a doula I would like someone to help me with labor and delivery and guide me in the days/ weeks leading up to it. I would like assistance on prepping for lactation and maybe help postpartum with that as well as any other assistance.

Plan to give birth at a hospital (L&M hospital in New London), tricare select covers doulas so hopefully I can find a doula that’s covered by our health insurance. My first was a very long induced labor, about 56 hours and I pushed for 3 hours. Ended up having a c section and would love to try a vbac this time around.

St Charles Hospital, 5k budget for midwife, limited interventions, epidural. For night nursing I would actually just need a few nights a week between the hours of 3pm to 12 pm every other week because of my work schedule with possible.

I’m planning to give birth in a hospital because I feel most comfortable having medical support available. I definitely plan on getting an epidural for pain management, but I still want the experience to feel as calm and supported as possible. My budget is around $800–$1,500, depending on what’s included. I’m open to some flexibility if it’s a really good fit and includes prenatal and postpartum support. For my birth plan, I’m hoping for a smooth vaginal delivery, but I’m also realistic and open to whatever is safest for me and the baby. Since I plan on getting an epidural, I’d really like someone who can help me stay relaxed, guide me through the process, and support both me and my partner during labor. Communication is really important to me—I want to understand what’s happening and feel involved in decisions. I plan to give birth in a hospital. My budget for a doula is 2k. My birth plan would be to labor at home for a while and then drive to Manchester memorial hospital to give birth because I believe they are the most vba2c supportive in Connecticut with the midwives affiliated there.

I would love to give birth at home, but I currently take thyroid medication and if things do get complicated during birth, I am open to going to a hospital. Most important is for me and baby to be healthy and safe.
