Feeding Support: Guidance on breastfeeding/bottle-feeding and establishing a healthy feeding routine. Maternal Care: Support for my recovery (whether from a vaginal birth or a C-section) and monitoring for postpartum wellness. Calming & Routines: Helping us understand baby cues and how to calm a fussy newborn effectively. I plan to deliver at Stanford ValleyCare hospital in Pleasanton. This is my second pregnancy. My estimated budget is $3,000. Mostly looking for birthing support especially since I have anxiety that gets triggered when I don't have much control over a situation. I would like to labor for as long as possible without medication. For my first delivery I labored naturally until I was 8 cm dilated before I chose to get an epidural. I may need postpartum doula support, especially with breastfeeding, since it was a struggle the first time around. A night nanny may also be needed since I have mental health issues that become exacerbated with lack of sleep.
