We are looking for a night doula who is covered by blue Cross blue shield insurance. We would like to hire someone for a few nights a week - as long as insurance covers it.

Postpartum doula to help out on select nights. Doula needs to accept either Premera Blue Shield Washington or Regence Blue Shield insurance. Doula needs to be certified through Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA) or Doulas of North America (DONA).

I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and located in the Albany area. This is our first baby, and we plan to deliver in a hospital. We are primarily looking for postpartum doula support, especially during the first few weeks after birth. Overnight support is very important to us, as we would like help with newborn care so that we can get adequate rest and recover well. We would also appreciate guidance with breastfeeding, newborn care, and adjusting to life with a newborn, as we are first-time parents. We plan to use Carrot benefits for reimbursement, so it is important that you can provide detailed, itemized invoices that meet Carrot requirements (including schedule, hourly rate, and labeled for reimbursement). We are flexible with scheduling but are most interested in overnight support and some daytime visits in the early postpartum period.

Will be giving birth at a hospital, want to avoid a c-section as much as possible, no use of epidural. I want a compassionate, educated caring and understanding doula.

I plan to give birth at the hospital via c-section and will be at the hospital for a few days with my husband. My husband will be home with me for only 1 week after and then will have to return to work. I’m not sure what our budget for this would be but am looking to see if it’s affordable to have an extra help around starting the second week.
