Hey, I am giving birth in Asheville (NC) in Mission Hospital. I am looking for a Doula to assist both in the delivery and doing overnight assistance during postpartum (40 Hours a week, for 12 weeks). Ideally we would like to pay 35 an hour. We live in Horse Shoe, Hendersonville, NC. Fully vaccinated candidates only!

I plan to give birth at a hospital. I’m open to pricing conversations. This is my first time as a mom so I don’t know where to begin with budget talks. I want to labor at home as long as I can with support before going to the hospital to reduce interventions that are unnecessary. I want to try my best not to have an epidural. I want to be free to be in different positions to help the baby move through. Afterwards i don’t want to be rushed to cut the umbilical cord or have them push on my stomach to force the placenta out. I want it to happen naturally and if interventions are needed that’s the only time I want to consider. I do want to try my best to breastfeed but I don’t want to strictly nurse. Hello, I recently brought home my son from the NICU and was looking for a night time nurse. Some background knowledge for my son, nassier is that he was in the NICU at Catawba valley medical center in hickory nc from birth- July 15, 2025- to just being discharged November 20th, 2025. He was sent home on oxygen, 1 liter and since this is a new process for me and my family- it has been hard getting any sleep as we tend to watch over him like a hawk. I was just looking for an overnight nurse to help care for my son. I live in the mooresville area and am inquiring about your rates.
