About me

As a certified postpartum doula and sleep consultant, I believe support can change everything in the early days of parenthood. Mothers deserve to be nurtured, families deserve to feel held, and no one should have to figure it all out while running on empty. My work is rooted in the belief that postpartum care should feel personal, compassionate, and realistic. I support families in a way that helps them feel more confident, more rested, and more at ease in their new rhythm. With my background in sleep consulting, I value gentle structure, responsive support, and creating foundations that help the whole family thrive.

Service introduction

I’m the founder of Sleepyhead Solutions, where I support families with both postpartum doula services and sleep consulting designed to bring more calm, confidence, and rest into the home. I know how overwhelming early parenthood and sleep struggles can feel. When you’re exhausted, running on empty, and trying to figure out what your baby or child needs, it can start to feel like nothing is working. That’s where I come in. My approach is supportive, practical, and focused on real solutions that make life feel easier, not more stressful. I work closely with families to help them feel less alone and more equipped. Whether you need postpartum support during those early transitions, guidance creating better routines, or a clear plan to improve sleep, I’m here to help you move from feeling stuck and overwhelmed to feeling supported and confident. I believe every family deserves care that is personalized, compassionate, and realistic for real life. What sets my support apart is that I don’t just hand you generic advice and send you on your way. I take the time to understand your family, your challenges, and your goals so we can find solutions that truly fit. I’m here to problem-solve with you, encourage you, and help you put simple, effective strategies into place. My goal is always the same: to help families create more peace at home. That might look like helping a new mom feel cared for and supported during postpartum recovery, helping parents understand their baby’s needs, or helping a tired family finally get the sleep they’ve been missing. No matter the situation, I want you to feel like you have someone in your corner who understands, listens, and knows how to help. If you’re looking for support that is warm, knowledgeable, and solution-focused, I’d love to connect with you. You don’t have to keep guessing your way through it alone.

Michelle was a lifesaver for our little one! We went from multiple night waking and only contact naps to sleeping through the night and crib naps all day! Highly recommend her help and expertise! It was so comforting to have her constant support when helping our little one sleep independently!

So thankful for Michelle!! My 7 month old went from co-sleeping and waking up 4-6 times a night to sleeping in her crib for 10+ hours uninterrupted.

I found Michelle when my son was a few weeks old & not sleeping well at all. Right off the bat I felt so comfortable with her. She came up with an age appropriate schedule, feeding schedule & taught us ways to improve his sleep right from the start. She even helped us navigate some health issues that were effecting his quality of sleep. She was so supportive and available to us whenever we needed it during our time together. I would recommend Michelle to anyone having a baby to be prepared & educated on sleep and techniques to help everyone get more rest!

I cannot recommend Sleepyhead Solutions enough! As a new parent, I was overwhelmed with trying to get my newborn to sleep, and I felt like I was constantly on edge from the lack of rest. That's when I found Sleepyhead Solutions, and it was a game-changer. Their sleep consultant was kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. After just a few sessions, my little one started sleeping better, and I finally got some much-needed rest. The advice was tailored to our unique situation, and I felt supported every step of the way. If you're struggling with your baby's sleep, do yourself a favor and reach out to them. Best decision ever!

We started working with Michelle when our son turned one. We had been co-sleeping and nursing throughout the night, up 5-8 times a night and it was a disaster. Within two days he was sleeping through the night and I even had to wake him in the morning! He even started to nap independently which he had never done before. Unfortunately we went through multiple illnesses throughout the winter, a surgery, a move, so his sleep was all over the place once again. We did a regression package with Michelle around 16 months and he fell right back into it within one night. Michelle tailored our sleep and feeding schedule based on our son’s needs and our sleep expectations for him. I couldn’t recommend Michelle more!

Michelle is a DREAM. I couldn’t figure out a way to get our nearly one year old to sleep through the night, and I REALLY wanted him sleep trained by one. She was patient through all of our illnesses, was with us every step of the way, and made sure she was available when we went for our training week to coax us through when it was hard. Not only that, but she knew we had some special days coming up and gave us advisement for those as well. Can’t thank her enough.

Do you like sleep? More free time? A happier baby? If your answer is "yes" to any of the above, Michelle is your gal! Michelle worked wonders with us and I would recommend her to any parent looking to fast-track their baby's healthy sleep habits! Our 11 month old daughter had a solid sleep routine, but was still being fed to sleep and was room-sharing. Within 2 weeks of us starting our program, our daughter was falling asleep when placed in her crib and was sleeping through the night. Michelle went at our pace, and developed a program that was sensitive to the fact that we wanted to have a gradual, stress-free transition for our daughter. Since working with Michelle, bed time is faster, less stressful, and more consistent. Again, Michelle is a magician and I HIGHLY recommend her for any of your sleepy baby needs.

Michelle was the best investment we've made since our little guy came along. Her support and expertise made the tough nights a little easier and was the single most helpful part of the process. It's hard to know the right thing to do and her guidance reassured us every step of the way. We can't thank you enough Michelle!!!!

Michelle is amazing. She is so sweet and kind. Gave me a detailed sleep plan for my son that we went through detail by detail to really make it fit what we needed. Not only is my son sleeping 9 hours over night (he’s 3 months old) he’s getting consistent good naps during the day. She checked in daily and always answered my random questions. Highly recommend!!
