In need of a (CM) certified midwife or doula. I've had a C section once back in 2022 and am being rejected from every home birthing/birthing center because of it. I live in Alabama. I want to have a waterbirth more than anything. Even if I have to do it at home. I want to do it naturally on my own and just be able to have someone there to step in if something goes wrong.

Unmedicated hospital birth. Would like to labor at home for as long as possible. Would like spontaneous vaginal delivery. $1500 budget. Christian doula In-person doula present at birth.

I do want to give birth in a hospital. I am diabetic and newly diagnosed with HTN, but I wanna go natural. My mom went natural with me but ended up opting for an epidural with my brother because of her blood pressure. Both my brother and I were 9+ pounds, and with my comorbidities, I know I may have a chunky little monkey <3, but I still want to try natural to start. I was looking to stay around $1500. My birth plan is simply to keep my pressures stable and have a healthy baby. If no meconium, I do want to encapsulate my placenta, and I will sign the form to keep it because, as a L&D nurse, I know they will want to keep it because of my comorbidities. If the diabetes and HTN were gestational, I probably would have let them keep it, but since it's chronic, nothing new will be learned about my future pregnancies from the placenta. I’m not sure how to go about this I know my first birth was disastrous they kept trying to get me to do a c-section, ignored me when I said I wanted my placenta and threw it away, disrespected my mom instead of just talking to her. It was a lot. I want to do my birth in the hospital again but it will be a different one. I’m not sure about a budget I don’t have anything money wise. I want closeness with my baby, delayed clamping till cord is white, I want to hold them as soon as they are born

Hi I’m Angel Hayes I’m a first time mom and I officially have my baby in April of 2026. Now I currently stay in Houston but came back home to be around my family during my pregnancy. As though I don’t mind giving birth in the hospital, I just don’t trust anyone to give birth to my child with a doula or midwife in the room for extra protection. As I’m not to familiar with postpartum, I will need help throughout the rest of my pregnancy to know the ends in outs and on how I should go about keeping my placenta.
