In need of a (CM) certified midwife or doula. I've had a C section once back in 2022 and am being rejected from every home birthing/birthing center because of it. I live in Alabama. I want to have a waterbirth more than anything. Even if I have to do it at home. I want to do it naturally on my own and just be able to have someone there to step in if something goes wrong. |

I do want to give birth in a hospital. I am diabetic and newly diagnosed with HTN, but I wanna go natural. My mom went natural with me but ended up opting for an epidural with my brother because of her blood pressure. Both my brother and I were 9+ pounds, and with my comorbidities, I know I may have a chunky little monkey <3, but I still want to try natural to start. I was looking to stay around $1500. My birth plan is simply to keep my pressures stable and have a healthy baby. If no meconium, I do want to encapsulate my placenta, and I will sign the form to keep it because, as a L&D nurse, I know they will want to keep it because of my comorbidities. If the diabetes and HTN were gestational, I probably would have let them keep it, but since it's chronic, nothing new will be learned about my future pregnancies from the placenta. Anyway, I think that's it! Look forward to hearing from you! |

Location: Enterprise, AL 36330, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: October 15, 2026
I’m not sure how to go about this I know my first birth was disastrous they kept trying to get me to do a c-section, ignored me when I said I wanted my placenta and threw it away, disrespected my mom instead of just talking to her. It was a lot. I want to do my birth in the hospital again but it will be a different one. I’m not sure about a budget I don’t have anything money wise. I want closeness with my baby, delayed clamping till cord is white, I want to hold them as soon as they are born |

Location: Little Rock, AR 72209, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: April 21, 2026
Hi I’m Angel Hayes I’m a first time mom and I officially have my baby in April of 2026. Now I currently stay in Houston but came back home to be around my family during my pregnancy. As though I don’t mind giving birth in the hospital, I just don’t trust anyone to give birth to my child with a doula or midwife in the room for extra protection. As I’m not to familiar with postpartum, I will need help throughout the rest of my pregnancy to know the ends in outs and on how I should go about keeping my placenta. The rest of the info will be provided upon meeting one another. |

Hello ! I plan to give birth with my first child at UF health hospital. I would like to run my insurance through Medicaid to see how that’ll affect price. My birth plan 💓 Environment - I prefer a female doctor or midwife - I would like to give birth in the hospital - I would like to have subdued lighting if possible - I would like to listen to music during labor Companions - I only want my partner, doctors, nurses and midwives in the room - family can visit me in the hospital Fetal monitoring - I would like the baby to be monitored using a Doppler - I would like to have continuous fetal monitoring Photos & videos - I would like to have a video shot after birth - I would like to have pictures taken after the birth Induction - If necessary, I am ok with my waters being broken to induce labor - small use of epidural to start and possibly add more later Pain relief - If possible, I would like a mobile epidural (would be able to have some feelings in your legs and possibly walk) - Please don’t offer any pain relief, unless I ask for it Tearing & episiotomy - I would like to occasionally have directions regarding when to push or not to push, so as to avoid tearing During labor - I would like to be able to move or walk around freely - I would like to be free to eat and drink when I want to - I would like to try various birthing positions - I would like to use spontaneous bearing down and not forced pushing Cesarean birth - Do not perform a hysterectomy, unless it is the only option to save my life - I would like my partner or companion to be with me if I have a cesarean birth - I would like to be offered a second opinion, if I need a cesarean birth - If an emergency cesarean is required, I would like to stay awake - If possible, I would like to avoid a cesarean birth Delivery - I would like to be free to decide my own position for labor - I would like to push when I feel like doing it naturally rather than being told when to push After delivery - I do not want to be given any drugs to speed up the delivery of the placenta - If possible, I do not want to be separated from my baby after delivery. - My partner will stay with our baby if there is an emergency - We would like to have skin-to-skin contact and time to bond with the baby as soon as possible after delivery - We would not like any Vitamin K to be given to our baby, unless our baby is born by forceps, vacuum extractor or cesarean Umbilical cord - I would like my partner to cut the umbilical cord Feeding - I would like to breastfeed my baby as soon as possible after birth - I would like to have some help the first time I breastfeed my baby |
