I’m looking to have a natural unmedicated birth at the hospital. Also looking for guidance throughout my pregnancy on what I should be doing to prepare for labor and delivery. I don’t have a huge budget either. This is my first pregnancy so I’m new to all of this. But I do know that I want to inquire about having a Doula for this pregnancy. |

This is my first pregnancy. I want to have all the tools necessary to manage pain at home as much as possible until I absolutely need to go to the hospital. I want to discuss my birth plan and trust that there is an expert by my side who will ensure my wishes are respected as much as is possible, within bounds. |

Victoria is looking for Childbirth Educator, Birth Doula, Mental Health Therapist
|
Location: Gwynn Oak, Baltimore, MD 21207, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: June 06, 2026
As of today, I am planning to give birth at GMBC, I am an OB who practices at their campus in Towson, MD. I am relying heavily on my two insurance plans and am willing to pay the copays/what they do not cover. I also have not drawn up or outlined a birth plan. I do know I do not what to be induced unless absolutely necessary (AKA Pitocin pressured) and I am open to an epidural. I am really looking for someone I can rely on to educate both parties involved being my significant other and I and my mother who are at this moment who I want present for the birth. And more importantly enforce boundaries from a more medically trained/educated standpoint on my behalf and with my health/survival in mind. I also would love someone who is especially experienced with the mental health aspect of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. |

Rachel is looking for Birth Doula, Midwife
|
Location: Hatboro, PA 19040, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: March 27, 2026
I am looking for a midwife or midwife practice that can come alongside me in a hospital setting. I am planning a natural and physiological approach to birth and desire midwives who are knowledgeable and fully supportive of that desire. True and genuine complications aside, I don’t want unnecessary interventions or checks and am hoping that there are midwives out there that are well suited for these wishes. I was originally set to deliver in the Bryn mawr lifecycle birthing center, but unfortunately they are shutting down their facility after almost 50 years. This caused me to have to change up my plans at 23 weeks pregnant. I feel very stressed about that considering I was looking forward to being out of the hospital. As someone who is low risk, I’m still hoping I can have my dream birth even if that means being in the hospital. |

I am currently pregnant with my second child (a boy). My first delivery in short was a series of unfortunate events that ended in a c section. I would to try for a TOLAC/VBAC. My doctors have said I’m a great candidate for it. I plan on giving birth at Baystate in Springfield MA. I am have a lot of anxiety about my birth not only due to the last time but this time around there has been a lot of miss communication and I just don’t want to be worried about everyone being on the same page while trying to have a successful labor. While having an epidural isn’t out of the question or having other medical interventions isn’t out of the question I’d like to just let my body do its thing and labor naturally with alternative pain management methods. I honestly have zero idea what a doula even costs to even know what is reasonable, if it’s covered by insurance etc. |
