I would like a home, water birth. I am not sure what our budget is. I just know this is our last child, and every one of my labors has always been traumatic. I’ve always gone through experiences where I am told not to push, or it’s not time to push, or let’s regulate your pain when I knew it was time to give birth especially for babies #4 & #5. My last birth was extremely traumatic I went in and baby was crowning and I was told not to push for 4 hours and baby was then forced out when her heart rate dropped. Her collarbone was broken during labor and nothing was done. I would like to have a peaceful and happy experience as my last one

I want to avoid the cascade of intervention as best we can (including induction). I am not opposed to medication however, I do want to give birth as naturally as possible. I am black and nervous about not being heard or being mistreated during labor. Sad we have to be scared, but its true. Planning a home birth with as few interventions as possible, interested in utilizing the birthing tub. I am 12 weeks and have attended 1 prenatal doctor's appointment, but am interested in prenatal care with a midwife instead, if possible. Would like guidance and education, as this is my first baby.
