1. Home birth 2. 10000 3. Natural birth. I would like to have specialists, my partner, and my mom there. Calming music would be great. Skin to skin is important for me and my partner. I am a first time mom so having a lactation consultant would be important.
Birth preparation and Birth support. This is my second child. My goal is to have a VBAC in a hospital. I want to labor at home as long as possible, then transition to the Hospital. I want to have as little interventions as possible (no induction, Pitocin, etc...) but am OK with an epidural. I DO NOT want to labor or give birth on my back so I would like to plan for alternate positions with an epidural. I also know things don't always go as planned, and second children typically come faster, so Id like to be as prepared as possible to go natural if needed. I have Kaiser Permanente and plan to go through insurance.
I’m planing to give birth at Providence St Joseph hospital in Burbank. It would not be my first choice as I was hoping for a home birth. Unfortunately, I was laid off last year and have been unable to find work. I’m hoping to find support covered by medi-cal. I would like my birth to be unmediated and with as little intervention as possible. This is my first birth so I do feel a bit nervous. I would only like my husband and doula in the room (along with any necessary medial care team). I would like to be able to move freely and have help getting into positions that will help me through the various stages of labor. I’d also love to spend time in the bath. I want skin to skin right away and delayed cord clamping.
1. I plan on delivering at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena. 2. I believe my health insurance would cover doula resources 3. Want to be relaxed and listen to my body before any interventions such as epidural etc. i want to be able to labor is different positions and possibly reduce the risk of tearing. I would like a doula to guide my partner and i through the birthing process and be an advocate for me during labor.

Dear Danielle, Happy Passover! I am writing to you as a well known doula that works with Jewish families. I am the Rabbi of Congregation B'nai Emet in Simi Valley (Reform) and the Executive Director of the Sandra Caplan Community Bet Din. Recently, I finished mentorship as a Mohel under a Professor of Urology at Cedars and a Conservative Rabbi - Mohel. I would like to invite you for coffee (after Passover) or a phone call to ask your advice on how I can best serve the needs of families in greater Los Angeles. Would you be open to speaking? Warmly, Rabbi Jason Rosner
I would love to look into home birth, but I don’t know much about it, I’m interested in knowing prices to know if it’s something my family can afford. I also wouldn’t mind a facility that provides the room if thats more affordable. I have no idea as to how much all of this cost so would want a run down. I currently have la healthcare as medical and I know it’s a long shot as to anyone receiving medical through here. But thought I would give it a try as well if I can save myself from paying out of pocket. Budget for me would be about $2000 I would say? I want to do things as naturally as I can and allow my body to take its course during labor. I want to avoid interferences as much possible and even avoid cord clamping, or medications. Be as relaxed and mentally trained as possible for birth.
