My husband and I live in downtown Miami, and need a night nanny (newborn night specialist) for at least 2 months, and 5 nights each week. I am due in mid January and planning on a hospital birth. Compensation will be determined by level of experience.

My plan is to give birth at the hospital. I don't know how much postpartum doula is so I'm open. I've had difficult births in the past just hoping for a safe and quiet birth. It's only myself and my husband who works a lot of out of town jobs or stays late. My mom is elderly so she doesn't have much time to help me. I've had horrible post partum before. Just hoping for night help with our newborn.

We are first-time parents expecting a newborn and are looking for an experienced overnight caregiver starting around early May for approximately 2–3 months. We are based in Miami (33176) and are primarily looking for Sunday - Thursday overnight support. Responsibilities would include nighttime feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and helping establish healthy sleep routines. We would also appreciate light baby-related tasks such as bottle prep/cleaning and keeping the nursery tidy. We’re looking for someone calm, reliable, and knowledgeable with strong newborn experience who can also provide guidance and support as we learn. Strong English communication is important for us. I have a 2 year old girl and I am currently pregnant. Following the birth of my first child, I required a lot of support from my father, who passed away this year. We have friends and family able to provide occasional support, but my husband and I are worried that we may need extra support following the birth of our second child. If the birth goes smoothly, we anticipate needing someone to help make meals for me, light cleaning, and being another set of eyes on our toddler. Sleep is the biggest concern, so a night nanny might be something we need, or at least want to have at the ready. I am planning on giving birth at Almonte Hospital. I live in Carleton Place. I plan on having a natural delivery (not a planned c-section). My last birth was fairly smooth (laughing gas for pain, episiotomy and vacuum delivery, home from hospital after 2 night stay), so I am hoping for a similar experience. Our budget is quite flexible, we know we will need the help, we estimated maybe up to $100 a day or $300 a week? It's hard to guess how much help we will need, but want to be ready for worst case scenario.
