Hello! My name is Amalia Ali and I am currently taking clients seeking Birth and Postpartum Doula Services. My care is centered around holistic practices in order to improve birth and postpartum outcomes for expecting mamas!

Recent review

Amalia provided her birth doula services to me in the summer of 2023. She was professional, timely, compassionate & easy to connect with. The package I chose allowed for assistance with my birthing plan, options to help induce labor, ways to encourage calmness during the chaos of the different stages of labor. Amalia was available to chat when I needed her, provided on call services in my high risk pregnancy and became a trusted source when I needed her. For my first experience with a Doula, Amalia made it worth it. I finally experience a labor and delivery experience that was filled with support and positive energy! So grateful to have found Amalia and experience her knowledge of birth and her beautiful spirit.

Simone has been holding space for expecting and postpartum families for over 10 years. Birth has a powerful way of healing and transforming you, and her first birth did just that. The ability to have 2 empowered births the way she wanted, gave light to the need for advocacy, education and doula support amongst the birthing community, especially black families. Simone is a mother, doula, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, childbirth educator and infant sleep educator. She has been teaching and mentoring doulas along the way and excited to dive deeper into holding the hands of the next generation of birth workers.

I am a postpartum doula, lactation counselor and postpartum chef working in Brooklyn, Manhattan and sometimes Queens. I support mother's, birthing parents, and families through the first few weeks of the postpartum period.

Marisa was an AMAZING postpartum doula! She was knowledgeable about so many things and even helped us with nursing, which was a struggle for us. She also made the best food that would sustain us for a week! It was so nice to have nourishment when we really had no time to care for ourselves in the early weeks. Her presence truly made our lives easier. Our baby and our dog also LOVED her - she really became like family! I recommend her so so highly.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Elizabeth for my postpartum care, and I can’t recommend her enough. From the very beginning, she was warm, knowledgeable, and truly invested in my recovery and well-being as a mom. Elizabeth was incredibly hands-on and efficient, always one step ahead of what I needed, whether it was helping with breastfeeding, soothing the baby, or making sure I had time to rest and heal. She supported not just me, but our whole family, creating a calm and comforting environment that made a huge difference during those early, overwhelming days. Kerrian helped take care of our new born daughter since Day 1 until about 3 months and I am eternally grateful that Kerrian was in our lives during this precious period. Kerrian has decades of experience with newborns and from Day 1 was able to understand the needs of our daughter and teach us how to take care of her (she is our first child). She was so gentle, loving and tuned into our daughters cues, it was remarkable. She was also very respectful of our choices and mature enough to not only take care of our daughter, but also us, especially me as a first time mother. She was emotionally supportive, gave me confidence on days I needed it and also helped me on my feeding journey. I cannot recommend Kerrian enough to any family. You would be lucky to have her be part of your child's life.

When my wife and I hired Brie as our doula, we expected guidance through birth — but what we got was so much more. After a traumatic delivery, we came home overwhelmed and exhausted. Brie immediately became our anchor — organizing, advocating, and surrounding us with the right support so we could focus on healing and bonding with our baby. Through her postpartum care agency, she personally screened and matched us with incredible doulas, handled every detail, and checked in constantly to make sure we were cared for. Her compassion, professionalism, and calm energy turned a chaotic time into one filled with stability and hope. If you’re looking for someone who goes above and beyond — not just during birth but in the critical weeks that follow — Brie is the one you want by your side. We’re endlessly grateful for her impact on our family.

Hi, I’m Jacqueline, but you can call me Jacqui. I’m a full-spectrum doula who believes birth is both sacred and deeply human — not something to “manage,” but something to be supported with care, humor, and grounding energy. My background as an esthetician, medical assistant, and ordained minister means I show up with a calming presence, steady hands, and the ability to connect with just about anyone. I see each family as unique, and I honor every birth plan, every emotion, and every cultural layer that shapes the journey into parenthood. I’m here to hold space, advocate when needed, and help parents feel informed, respected, and genuinely cared for. My philosophy is simple: YOU deserve a birth experience that feels safe, supported, and authentically yours. I show up as both a guide and a teammate — someone who listens first, encourages often, and helps you tap into your own strength. Whether it’s breathwork at 2 a.m., a good laugh when things get intense, or quiet reassurance in the moments that matter most, I’m committed to walking alongside your family with compassion and confidence. My goal is to help you feel prepared, empowered, and never alone during one of the most transformative moments of your life. My hobbies are reading, crafting, hosting karaoke nights at local bars, helping my partner run a part-time catering business and cuddling with our Beagle-mix Emo. I look forward to meeting you!!

Hello there! I'm Isha, your dedicated elite certified newborn care specialist, postpartum doula, and birth doula with over a decade of experience helping families navigate the beautiful chaos of new parenthood. What parents often call my "baby whisperer" abilities are simply the result of 10 years spent learning the subtle language of newborns and creating calm in what can feel like the eye of a hurricane. When I'm not supporting growing families, you can find me performing improv and comedy on stages across New York City, channeling my creative energy into laughter and storytelling. And yes, if you catch me making Star Trek references during our time together, that's just the Trekkie in me coming out—boldly going where many exhausted parents have gone before, but with a touch of humor and expertise to light the way.

I usually say I accidentally fell into the field of birth work, but I guess that's not totally true. After spending a decade abroad running a foster home/cardiac surgery program for babies with complex congenital heart defects and maternal/fetal health programs for at-risk indigenous families, I unexpectedly found myself stuck in New York City in early 2020, waiting out this little bug called "Covid-19" that was shutting borders all around the world... I certified as a birth & postpartum doula in the USA in 2020, to be with my best friend for the birth of her first child in the midst of Covid protocols. I never could have imagined how much I would fall in love with birthwork here in the United States and it is the greatest honor to walk alongside families as they grow and change (in whatever capacity!), providing unbiased & judgment-free support, advocacy, guidance, and care during such intimate and pivotal moments.

I am a DONA-certified, Carrot Fertility-approved postpartum doula servicing Manhattan and Brooklyn, with a passion for supporting families during the transformative postpartum period. I am infant CPR, and first-aid certified. My mission is to provide guidance, care, and reassurance as you navigate the joys and challenges that come with welcoming a new member into your family.

Mia became a part of our family shortly after the birth of our second child. Having hired an overnight doula for our first, we knew this time around, with two little ones under two, we’d need even more support. From the moment Mia arrived, she was extraordinary. She intuitively understood the rhythm of our home and our unique challenges. I trusted her completely with my newborn, which allowed me to give my toddler the attention she needed. Mia provided unwavering emotional support and was remarkably proactive, anticipating our needs before we could voice them. She brought calm and clarity during a time when I often felt overwhelmed, almost like the part of my brain that wasn’t functioning in the haze of postpartum. Whether it was preparing nourishing snacks, offering thoughtful breastfeeding support, or simply being a grounding presence, Mia was indispensable. Her presence during those intense early weeks was nothing short of a gift. I could not recommend Mia more highly. - Aisling S.
