About me
My name is Hazel Alvarez. As an Independent BirthKeeper and Teacher, I hold space for women to find the fullness of their power, to learn to truly trust, connect and listen to their bodies and to give birth in a way that makes her feel seen, heard, safe and respected. I offer the Quantum Model of Care when it comes to pregnancy and birth. This means that I prioritize Nurturing of both the mom and her partner, Soul-Level Connections with mom, recognition of Self-directed women who know what they want, Trust & Transparency, and Birth as an Altered State of Consciousness. Always knowing and acknowledging that there is a divine power that is always guiding us through the miracle of life. I am knowledgeable and respectful of both the physiology and the mystical aspects of birth. You were born to navigate your birth and to be in tune with your divine vessel. I am humbled by the honor that I am being called to witness birth as it should be.

I also offer postpartum care which is rooted in ancestral traditions and innate wisdom. I also offer childbirth education to help inform you of the physiology of birth and support you in your journey. I am located in New Jersey and my approach is rooted in compassion, education, and intuition. My services are offered on a sliding scale. I believe every family deserves compassionate skilled support during birth, regardless of financial circumstances. A sliding scale allows me to honor my time, energy, and training while making my services accessible to more families. This model is built on trust, honesty and community care.
