This will be my first baby and birth, with that being said I’m very unsure about a lot of things. That’s one of the main reasons I’d like a doulas help! I’d love help navigating through This journey with someone that is educated and experienced. I wouldn't say I really have a birth plan, I do however know of some things that I think I’d like from some “research” I’ve been doing. I’m also very open to changes in this depending on what the doula thinks/recommends. I’d love to have an unmedicated birth (in a hospital) as I would feel more settled having that access if anything goes wrong. I would like to be in control of my birth, deciding what position I’m in, letting my water break on its own, no drugs to induce labor, etc.. I want someone by my side who’s educated and who has my best interest in mind; if that makes sense! I’ve heard how doctors love to rush your birth. As far as budget, I’d really love to discuss everything id potentially need or want and we would figure it out from there? I just see so many numbers I’m really unsure what the cost is. I plan on giving birth at the Celebration Advent Hospital and I live in Celebration, FL, 10 minutes away from the hospital. This will be my second delivery there. The first time my water broke without any progression and I was given induction medicine and it took over 26 hours to deliver. I do not want induction medicine and I want to be able to move as long as possible but I'm worried I won't be able to advocate strongly enough for myself and be influenced by the amount of pain. I'm looking for a strong advocate and coach. Someone who would be able to stick with me for a week after birth for some help post partum would also be ideal.

I’m new to having a midwife, my last baby was born in a hospital. I’m interested in receiving all prenatal care at home and possibly even giving birth at home. I don’t really have a plan yet, I just want to know more, including costs.

This is my first pregnancy and both my partner and I will be first time parents. I’m looking for help understanding my body as baby and I continue to grow. I live far from my mother and sisters so it’s a very emotional time without that support. Once baby arrives, my partner won’t have the opportunity to be home with us long, and I’m planning to be home for 2 months postpartum. We would absolutely love the night support and the continuous learning. We have family support but we really want the first week to be only us and baby, as well as have strong boundaries with family about baby with hygiene and safety so this is where the help would come in. I feel like there is more to discuss to better understand match, but I am still very new!
