Ideally I’d like to have my baby at a birth center but a hospital is fine. My husband is the type to freeze and not help where I need it most, so I need a doula to do a lot of the physical help and support. This is my second pregnancy. My first time was a very traumatic experience, and I’m just trying to do things differently so the outcome is pleasant and healing. I’m not rich, I’d like to see what the cheapest is. I want to have an unmediated birth ideally, Worship Music, tub, movement, aromatherapy, delayed cord clamping- having baby and placenta delivered and wait until all blood flow has transferred before clamping. No bath for baby.

I plan to give birth at home. Budget 8k I just want a natural home birth. Where I can be present and in the moment.

I’m a first time military spouse 2nd time mom so it feels like I’m doing this all on my own. I’m going to be giving birth at the hospital on base and I have Tricare insurance. I want a provider who can help make this pregnancy and birth smoother and less stressful.

Home birth is my ideal situation. I’m unsure of budget as I’m not familiar with the cost associated with hiring a midwife. I would like a midwife that accepts Tricare insurance. This is my 4th baby. I have a history of quick labors (6hrs, 3.5 hrs and 2 hrs) and delivery a bit early (38wk 1 day, 37wk 5day and 38wk 3 days).

Desert Regional. I don’t have a strict birth plan but I want a calm, supportive environment. With my first birth my pain wasn’t taken seriously and I felt unheard, so I want someone who can advocate for me and help communicate my needs. I had a failed epidural last time and may go unmedicated again, so emotional support is very important. I’m not sure of the typical cost and would like to explore pricing options!

I plan on giving birth at the hospital, in a controlled environment. My birth plan is to TRY and go into labor naturally (I was induced with my last baby), and definitely get the epidural if it’s an option. I don’t have a budget per se, but kind of shopping around.
