Describe your birth plan I am a very anxious person, so my priority is feeling emotionally supported and physically prepared throughout labor and delivery. I’m looking for a doula who can help me navigate the process in a calm and empowering way, including learning techniques that can reduce fear and help me stay grounded. My goal is to experience as little pain as possible. I am open to induction and would prefer to receive an epidural as early as medically appropriate so that I don’t feel intense pain. If I go into labor naturally, I would like to receive the epidural promptly once I arrive at the hospital. Having someone who can advocate for this plan, communicate my preferences clearly to the care team, and help me feel safe is very important to me. Overall, I would love support from someone who understands my anxiety, can prepare me in advance, and can guide both me and my partner through the experience with reassurance, knowledge, and calm energy.

We are giving birth at UCLA in Santa Monica Additionally, we are looking to book a nightmare nurse that can help for at least a week after the baby is born to not only help us get sleep, but help us be comfortable with the baby at home and teach things. My wife is pregnant for the first time. We're looking for proffesionals who's values align with our own. We believe in natural methods and dont trust medical professionals who push for drugs, surgeries, etc. Western medicine is great for emergencies only, not health. That being said, once we find someone we trust, we will value your expertise if you say that western methods are necessary in certain cases.

Breastfeeding/ pumping help. I have inverted/ flat nipples and can't figure out the right size flange and can't get my daughter to latch very well especially after having a bottle. I keep getting clogged milk ducts that are extremely painful in both breast. And my nipples are very sore all the time. Something is wrong and I can't figure it out. Hello! I am planning on giving birth at Fresno Kaiser Permanente. Looking for a doula who accepts Kaiser insurance and this is my first pregnancy. As for my birth plan, I am planning for a vaginal delivery (if possible!), epidural and breathing techniques for pain management. For Delivery room atmosphere music is a must and dim lights. For delivery methods lying on back or squatting, whatever is beneficial. Skin to skin contact for sure and planning on breast feeding. I would love to have a doula who strongly supports African American moms. Thank you!
