I am seeking a birth doula and lactation consultant to support me through a planned hospital birth and the immediate postpartum period. I value evidence-based guidance, emotional reassurance, and hands-on support that respects my autonomy and preferences. I plan to give birth in a hospital setting and would like a doula who is experienced navigating hospital environments, collaborating respectfully with medical staff, and advocating for patient-centered care. While I am open to medical interventions if they become necessary, my goal is to have a low-intervention birth whenever safely possible. I am particularly interested in comfort measures such as breathing techniques, movement and positioning, massage, counterpressure, and continuous emotional support during labor. I’m alone here in the state and I’m worried of not being able to take care of my self or the baby in case my delivery was hard. My husband has a lot of work and I might be home alone most of time. I want to make sure someone helps if I had a surgery or a hard delivery. I’m giving birth at WAKEMED Raleigh. I’m on Medicaid and I don’t have a plan.

We plan to have a hospital birth. My hope is to see how ca I can go unmedicated but I am open to options and an epidural is not out of the question if needed.

I plan to give birth at Southwest General in Middleburg Heights mid/end of October. Budget is flexible as I am not sure what the average price range is. I have had a stillbirth and also an emergency c- Section. I would like to be able to move and walk around as much as possible. I had a birth plan for my last birth and it didn’t not go to plan at all. This time I would just like to be open to all options and not be set in stone on what I think I might want.

University hospitals Wondering if insurance covers

I plan to have my baby at a hospital. I am not really educated on how much a doula is so I don’t have a price preference at the moment. I would love to have a unmedicated birth meaning no pain management meds or Pitocin if it can be avoided.

This is my 4th baby and I feel I was forced into csections with my last two out of doctor convince. I want a doula who can help me with a vbac (4year gap) and help me stand up for my self at the hospital. Duke or regional hospital. My budget is small, single income house hold but $500 would be max for day of services. I’d like to be at home as long as possible while monitoring the babies HR and position. Hospital at 5 min window and no epidural, vaccines, vitamin k or eye gunk. Skin to skin, delayed cord cut and I want my placenta to come natural not pulled out

Hospital 1000-1200 Plan: -Delayed cord clamping I don’t want my umbilical cord clamped or cut until it’s turns white or pulsing. -Absolutely NO pulling or tugging of my placenta! Unless emergency I want it to come out naturally on its own. -No cutting (episotomy) I want to tear naturally no cutting down there. I do not give consent. -No laying down while giving birth I want to give birth either, in the water, squatting, with the handle bars. -Lights off and worship music playing -I want to do the Golden Hour No taking her immediately after birth, I want that connection with her immediately after birth -No Baths!! I don’t want her to have a bath the white stuff on her skin is good for her skin and protects it’s the first few days after being born -All testing must be done in be room Do not take her out of the room! If emergency Dad must be allowed to follow -No giving birth at 37weeks I want to go as long as I can to prepare my body unless it’s an Emergency No cord tractions-No Pulling on Placenta -immediately after giving birth I want to latch my baby and that will cause my body to release the placenta
