Birthing at hospital, low budget, don’t have a birth plan yet

Need help with newborn care a few Nights a week along with some light housework (laundry, dishes, etc). Baby is 3 weeks old and we are combo feeding. Budget is 20-40/hr.

I plan to give birth at Osf in bloomington IL. I’m unsure of budget and was hoping my insurance would help! I want to have as much of a hands off, calm birth as possible with a peaceful environment! I want to try and make it as long as possible without medical pain management, but i’m not too set in no epidural. I just need someone to guild be through pain and be an advocate for me! I don’t have any serious requirements, just that you’ve done this for a few years and are a calm peaceful person! i’m 23, young and have had a really healthy pregnancy and just want some help! I’d also love the help with breastfeeding. it’s really important to me that i breastfeed but i know it’s a struggle at first. I also am team sleep training as soon as possible, so i’d love guidance with that!

Advocacy for birth plan OB is Karla Kossler. Will deliver at Carle Bromenn. This will be my second birth. First birth was an emergency C-section. Labor stalled before I was fully dilated. I was completely dilated on one side of the cervix but just short of complete on the other side as the baby was in the brow position and not easily manuevered. I would like to attend a VBAC. however since baby is measuring big, theyre encouraging a repeat c section if I don't go into labor by 39 weeks. I am 37 weeks currently. I would like to do a trial of labor. I intend to get an epidural as pain can trigger seizures for me but I am open to other labor positions that may be feasible with an epidural.

I am 23yrs old. I have had a c section in march 2024 and I want to try for a vbac this time. I am fairly active and the only issue I have is I was overweight when I got pregnant but I don't have any diabetes or other complications.

Opportunity for home and/or hospital birth. I prefer for insurance to be accepted. I have a phobia of needles which does not correlate with my vasovagal syncope. I need someone who is willing to work with me on alternative options for blood draws and will not require an IV. My birth plan is still in the works but I had originally hoped for a waterbirth. I also am planning to avoid c-section, pitocin and epidural at all cost.

I plan to give birth in the hospital, I do not know the price range for doulas, so just looking to get an idea of that. I am really just looking for someone to advocate for me during childbirth and maybe educate me.

I would like to have a home water birth. I'm not sure what my budget is. My birth plan is to only get the vitamin k shot for my daughter. Do skin to skin immediately after birth and wait until the cord turns white to cut it.

Hi, I am a first time mom here! I am looking for a night nurse full time starting late September this year. For one month only I would need help with changing soothing and burping baby during the night to get some extra sleep Starting at 20 an hour but I am open to look at experience. I am looking for someone closer to home wouldn’t want someone driving more than an hour just in case!

I plan on giving birth at the hospital in Springfield. If I can give birth in the water, I would like that. I would like to budget around what my insurance would pay for. I would like someone who is an older woman around her 40’s-50’s or someone who’s been doing this for a long time.

i plan to give birth at carle hospital again idk a budget i want it to be as natural as possible. i felt lied into having a c section for my son who was born in december 2025.

Still in early stages of planning but I will probably give birth at Carle Hospital. My OBGYN is currently Christie clinic. We are graduate students and so have a meager budget (maybe around 1,000 dollars). I don’t know what kind of birth I want but I have some chronic health issues and am mostly looking for someone who can advocate for me in medical settings. This will be our first child and I do have a husband who is very involved. I am seeking someone who is feminist, LGBTQ friendly, and open to modern medicine. We also are not from the area so it would be great to connect with someone who can tell us about local resources.
