This time I want to stay home, dim lights, lots of breathing, slow movement, bath tub, help from a doula… I’m hoping pushing will be different than my first baby. I heard there are different ways of pushing than active push and hold… I’d love to learn more about that! Max budget is 10k

Looking for a midwife , or doula to assist in the home birth of my third child. Ive had successful homebirth for my first , and second child ,almost a home birth, but the midwife felt it was taking too long and rushed me to the hospital , where I barely made in time for my daughter to not be born in the car . The experience was traumatic because my support lacked confidence, and expertise to endure at the very end which made me very fearful something was wrong which instensified the pain . I didn’t feel like I needed to go to the hospital , baby showed no signs of distress . Everything ended up being normal and healthy. I had to sign a waiver and meet with CPS to leave the hospital after not wanting to stay there for the standard number of days . Also having to constantly say no to all the newborn interventions like hearing tests and immunizations was distressing . I have Medicaid and found a great midwife , but unfortunately cannot afford the $2,500, copay that Medicaid will not cover . If I’m on Medicaid to begin with my financial resources are already very limited . Now I feel my only option, is a free birth. I want an unmedicated , no intervention birth . I feel my option to be somewhat of a free birth . I’m not against the medical system , it has its place and purpose , but not for routine childbirth. I have a birth pool and stool which have helped in the past , and am reading the “ the birthing handbook” to improve my awareness . I will be doing somewhat routine prenatal screenings , and a postnatal checkup through the medical system , to ensure the health of my baby, and I . I’m looking for someone to help encourage, and support me in my home through my birthing experience for a small fee . Thank you.

I have been searching for a midwife or Doula that will accept insurance. I would prefer a birthing center but I have not found one that would be an option, I am perfectly happy being in a hospital with a midwife or doula with me. I'm currently with GPS but trying to find a place to switch to where I can have a midwife or doula. I would prefer a water birth but in the hospital I'm not sure that's doable my plan is for an unmedicated birth. My pregnancy has been uncomplicated and low risk

Hello my name is Amy!! I'm 37 years old and I'm 5 weeks pregnant. My first pregnancy went smoothly. I gave birth to a baby boy on January 20, 2024. I really wanted to have a natural birth but had a cesarean. I am really looking forward to having a home birth for my second baby. I had a miscarriage earlier this year in late April, but I'm very optimistic that this baby will be healthy and grow to full term. Our budget is between 3 to 5 thousand and if insurance is available we can look into that also.

I plan on giving birth at a hospital but making sure it’s a comfortable setting with no medication or ivs what so ever. I want extra help and to be near a hospital if something goes wrong. My budget is up in the air too. Would like if insurance could cover a lot of the costs.

Frisco Texas Budget 2k max Wanted to birth in a birthing center but no longer a possibility. Hoping to be as natural as possible, cutting umbilical cord once white. Not wanting loud noises or many people in the room while giving birth. Skin to skin as birthed. Not willing to lay back and wait.
