Hi there, I live in Abbotsford and I’m interested in hiring a postpartum doula (night time) to help with the first few wks of baby care. I plan on giving birth at the regional hospital, and will try to keep things as natural as possible.

I plan to give birthday in a hospital. I’m in my 1st trimester, don’t have a birth plan yet.

I plan to give birth at home, I do not have much of a budget but I am willing to work through that with the right candidate! This is my first baby so I’m not sure what all is supposed to be in a birth plan so help figuring that out would be great!

Hello! I recently had a quite traumatic C-section and recovery experience. I found I am pregnant 3 months after giving birth, my doctor informed me with the right support I will be able to have a successful V-bac. This would make my pregnancies almost 12 months apart. I am so determined to have a successful V-bac and would love help, experience, and guidance throughout this journey to make it the most successful. My C-section was not warranted, I was not told my baby was sunny side up until I was pushing, then I was pushed into a csection . Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t of had one.

 I am currently looking for a birth doula for my first pregnancy. This is my first baby, and my due date is April 22, 2026. I feel scared and nervous when I think about labour and birth. I am planning to have a vaginal birth and have some concerns about tearing. I am also hoping for a calm and peaceful birthing environment, as I tend to feel anxious in busy settings, such as rooms with frequent interruptions or medical students present. I am looking for a doula who can advocate for me and my baby and help me feel supported and informed throughout the process. I also wanted to ask whether your doulas are certified through a recognized organization, or if you are registered as a paramedical practitioner in British Columbia (such as a Naturopathic Doctor or Social Worker). I have extended health benefits through Pacific Blue Cross and would be using those benefits. Ideally, I am looking for someone who can submit claims under their registration or provide an official receipt that includes their registration number for reimbursement purposes. I’m planning to give birth at Surrey Memorial Hospital, C section scheduled for March 4th, 2026. I’m looking for someone specialized in new born for the first few weeks.

Helping with a family of now 3 with a newborn. Mom is finding it hard to juggle everything. Helping with the two older kids (4 and 2) would help as well.

Have a 1 month old son. Looking for overnight support/care (feedings and changes). He has gas issues we are navigating but support is needed since we have been discharged from the midwife. Potentially looking for sleep training support later on.

Lord willing, I will give birth to our third-born this October in Langley, BC, canada. I plan to give birth at my parents little cottage at the back of their property. Our estimated budget is up to $3,000 cad, which would provide prenatal care from around 26 weeks until I birth the baby, and then up until six weeks after. Id love two home visits after the birth, and would expect one visit for sure! Our birth plan is essentially to water birth the baby at home, potentially outdoors in the rain!!! (Weather permitting).
