This will be my first child but I am interested in a home water birth or potentially a birth center. I'm interested in some parenting education/prep work prior too. I live in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania.

I want a peaceful environment during labor with dim lights and music. Id love to be free and move around and try different positions. I want a vaginal birth and hoping for my water to break naturally. For pain management I would like to start out with laughing gas but open to an epidural. Push as my baby feels the need to. No forceps/vacuum. No episiotomy. Try to avoid tearing with warm compress. Give birth in whatever position feels the most comfortable. Access to a birth bar. Immediate skin to skin. Dad to cut the cord. Delayed cord clamping. Newborn procedures to be done on me. Golden hour.

Dad and I need that extra layer of support to help speak up for us and we need a birthing coach it’s important for us to be able to deliver vaginally so we need techniques and someone to help us get through it .
