My husband Chase and I are preparing for a home birth with our first baby. I'm currently 21 weeks along, and we've had an unassisted pregnancy so far — an intentional choice rooted in a lot of research and a deep trust in my body. We had an elective ultrasound this week and are happy to share that we're expecting a healthy, strong baby boy. We are now looking for an experienced midwife to attend our birth and provide postnatal care, along with perhaps a couple of prenatal visits leading up to delivery. A little about us and what we're looking for: I personally feel most grounded laboring intuitively, guided largely by my own body and internal wisdom. Chase is incredibly supportive but works long hours and would feel much more at ease knowing an experienced professional is present and able to offer guidance in the moment. Together, we feel that having a skilled midwife present would be the right layer of support for our family. Informed consent is a core value for us. We are not seeking medication, vaccines, cervical checks, or interventions of any kind — only knowledgeable, attentive support to help ensure the safety and wellbeing of both myself and our baby during and after birth. We were originally planning to relocate to Chandler, but our plans have shifted and we'll be staying in Tucson, moving into a larger home here. We'd love to connect with someone local who resonates with our birth philosophy.

Water homebirth, doula and midwife, can travel, insurance
Hello my name is Amy!! I'm 37 years old and I'm 5 weeks pregnant. My first pregnancy went smoothly. I gave birth to a baby boy on January 20, 2024. I really wanted to have a natural birth but had a cesarean. I am really looking forward to having a home birth for my second baby. I had a miscarriage earlier this year in late April, but I'm very optimistic that this baby will be healthy and grow to full term. Our budget is between 3 to 5 thousand and if insurance is available we can look into that also.
I was looking for someone who could come into my home and help me through my pregnancy. And be a consultant and discuss my birth plan along the way. I haven't decided if I want to give birth at home . Budget is up for discussion. And I'm not worried about that. I do want to have an epidural. So that may play into the birth location. I dont have a solid birth plan.
Home birth. Looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife.
Birth at home, NOT a hospital, would be open to a birthing center with tubs Prefer someone who accepts Tricare Natural birth, water birth. Etc
I plan to give birth at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona. I live close by and feel most comfortable delivering there because it is near my home and support system. I am specifically hoping to find a midwifery or OB practice that delivers at Mercy Gilbert and supports physiologic, low-intervention birth whenever medically safe. I currently have Cigna insurance and am seeking an in-network provider. My goal is to stay within my insurance coverage and understand costs clearly ahead of time. I am open to discussing payment plans if needed, but I would prefer a provider who accepts Cigna and can outline estimated prenatal, delivery, and postpartum costs. I strongly desire a low-intervention, natural birth if medically safe for me and my baby. I understand that I may be monitored more closely due to blood pressure concerns, but I want to work with a provider who does not automatically treat me as a “high-risk C-section patient” unless it is truly medically necessary. My birth goals include: • Attempting vaginal delivery unless there is a clear medical emergency • Avoiding induction unless medically required • avoiding unnecessary Itervention • Freedom to move during labor • Laboring in positions that feel natural to my body • Delayed cord clamping • Immediate skin-to-skin contact • lactation support after delivery I want a provider who: • Sees me as a whole person, not just a diagnosis • Explains risks and options clearly • Supports informed consent • Respects my desire to avoid a C-section unless absolutely necessary • Is open to discussion and partnership rather than pressure My faith is important to me, and I value a calm, respectful environment. I want to feel heard, safe, and supported throughout pregnancy and delivery.
Pregnant (19 weeks) and looking for midwife who supports delayed vaccination
I plan to give birth at the hospital but I would like to stay out of the OB office. I’m not sure on budget. My birth plan is to stay at home laboring until my contractions are close, head to the hospital, naturally have the baby, delay chord clamping, then get to go home after!
I would like to give birth at home. I want a natural birth.
Im planning a homebirth but have not figured out many details. I dont even know if there will be a midwife in my town next August.
