I am a California-Licensed clinical psychologist and Parent Coach, specializing in the treatment of OCD, anxiety and post-traumatic stress. I have over 5 years of experience working with adults, adolescents children and families. I consider myself a psychodynamic clinician, which is a fancy way of saying I am really good with the deeper emotional stuff. I am well versed in behavioral strategies and interventions for parents, to help support child development. I really enjoy contributing unique ideas to what is already known about family relationships. In terms of research experience, my focus has been on the topic of love and marriage as affected by culture. You can trust the information I provide because I am trained in the application of evidence-based interventions, and I believe in disseminating only information that is backed by good scientific research and clinical evidence.

After having 6 home births of my own, I knew that I wanted to help other families have beautiful birth & postpartum experiences. I used Hypnobirthing methods for all of my own births. In 2011 I was trained as a (DONA international) Doula. Since then I was trained in Hypnobirthing methods, Belly binding, Abhyanga massage, natural doctoring, and other holistic practices. I have attended many different types of births, including hospital, home and birthing center births. I also offer in person and virtual child birth education and preparation. I Consult with you on birth and postpartum choices and how to be best prepared physically, emotionally, and mentally for your ideal birthing & postpartum experience.

Jen is a natural Doula, she is calm and comforting. With the experience of birthing her 6 kids, she understands a moms body and birth so well. I can not recommend Jen enough!

There are not enough kind words to describe Aurielle as a person or as a photographer. From our initial consultation I knew she would be a perfect fit for our family. She was and is more than just our birth photographer. She checked on me throughout my entire pregnancy. She helped me advocate for myself and was the support during my son’s labor. We will he forever thankful for Aurielle. The icing on the cake is how perfect all the photos were that she took through my labor and delivery. I will cherish them forever.

As the founder of MamaBPT and mother of two girls, I have increasingly become passionate towards helping women through physical therapy. I started my career working with the general public in orthopedics and sports recovery. However, soon after I gave birth to my first daughter, I became interested in pelvic health physical therapy. Through my own recovery and specialized training, I learned to help other women achieve their pelvic health and overall physical goals.

Dr Joy is amazing. She’s caring and attentive. I started seeing her during my 4th pregnancy and have continued seeing her postpartum. She has helped me immensely and I recommend her to every pregnant or postpartum mama!

Hi! I’m Katherine! I’m a newer doula looking to gain more experience. With over four years of nanny experience, most recently caring for infants, I'm excited to expand my schedule outside my current nanny position to focus on postpartum doula work. I absolutely love being with families, nurturing babies, and supporting birthing parents. This work isn't just a job; it's where I belong. As a loving and intentional doula, my support is rooted in the understanding that welcoming a new baby is a significant transition for every family. While I enjoy music, animals, and spending time with my family, birthwork is a true passion that deeply integrates into my personal life.

Recent review

Katherine is a wonderful nanny because she connects naturally with children and makes them feel safe and supported. Her patience allows her to handle any situation with calm confidence, even on the busiest days. She brings genuine understanding to every interaction, meeting kids exactly where they are. Above all, she is consistently reliable, giving families peace of mind knowing they can always count on her.

Hello! My name is Diane Lim and I am a postpartum doula. I have two children of my own - two beautiful baby boys. I became interested in postpartum doula care when I was going through the postpartum season with my firstborn. I just thought to myself how there isn't enough support for women who are going through the biggest transition of their lives! I want moms of all life stages to feel supported and cared for.

Recent review

I received postpartum care from Diane with my firstborn and I'm so thankful I did! She was at my home 4 nights a week to take care of my newborn overnight while my husband and I got some much needed sleep. I only woke up to feed the baby as I was breastfeeding and Diane would burp, diaper, and put him back to sleep. I'm so glad I decided to take care of myself during this huge life changing transition.

Michaela (Mikki) Bell is the face behind TheDoulaBell and has really been preparing for this gifting her whole life. She jokes, "The first doula client I ever had was a momma sheep out on our family friend's farm in Colorado when I was 9 years old. That was the first birth I ever participated in and since then, I've been so enthralled with birth in every form." Mikki's real journey to becoming a doula began with the birth of her firstborn, Jensen. She states that having a doula herself changed her whole perception about what birth is really like and what the human body is capable of. She says "My doula really helped me achieve what I hoped for in childbirth. She supported all of my decisions and was just that constant reassuring presence of someone who knows birth. Birth is hard and sometimes scary and I think it's absolutely essential to have someone that the birthing person and her partner can rely on and who can help them achieve their goals and dreams on potentially one of the most memorable days of their lives." Mikki has been able to work with parents in all types of birth settings, deliveries with OB's in the operating room and with midwives at home in a bedroom, and for parents of twins, singletons, and for IVF and VBAC families. Without a doubt, you will feel supported in every way during your pregnancy, labor and birth if you decide to hire Mikki, TheDoulaBell.

Nikki is incredible! I met her when I was into my third trimester with my first. She was kind, knowledgeable, and hilarious. We trained together in preparation for labor, birth, and postpartum recovery. It wasn’t just about physical strength, endurance, and control, but mental endurance and also down-regulation during times of stress. I also had the opportunity to train with her during my fourth trimester to help heal my pelvic floor and diastasis. Having a safe space for new moms and their babes was such a blessing. I can’t wait for Round 2!!
